OSA BBIMM release

No limit, over 300 cases left, waited in line 15min. Easy.

Apparently the limit was on Morningwood after it started moving faster than expected. Bummed to hear joker is out, that is the one thing that was making me think about heading over there.

 

Nope, I'm the only person dressed up the whole time. Godzilla and my pet Mr. Piffles.

 

That was a general statement, not directed at Steebo at all. I'm not all there today...

 

Also bummed to have missed out on the Joker. I'll have to search it out in distro.

 

Compared to 4 Elf this thing was so easy, except for the drive. I was so relieved when I got there and got to stand inside. Thank you Dark Horse for conditioning me.

Wish they would've stuck a limit on Joker. I wanted to try that almost as much as I wanted a case of BBIMM.

 

Got to try Joker at the fall beer fest. Trust me you're not missing out on anything. It was nowhere near Queen of tarts.

 

Started at Short's for Bourbon Barrel Evil Urges, just left Oddside with the BBAIMMS and Morning Wood, on to New Holland for the Reserves! The weather's terrible, but the beers have been fantastic.

 

How'd you end up with Morning Wood? It was out when I placed my order at 1:30 ish.

Note to self, never ask anyone how they ended up with morning wood ever again.

 

They were doing growler fills when we were there. Enjoying the Dragon's Milk Triple Mash right now at New Holland. Phenomenal. Heading for Grand Rapids after finishing up here.

 

They had Morning Wood and Joker of Tarts on all day, not sure how y'all missed it. Agreed Joker was average at best.

 

Since I had to work this morning and miss all of that, I'm going to solace myself with some Bear Witch Project bottles...

 

How was the Bear Witch?

 

I really enjoyed it. Equally sour and smoked, pretty potently, like sauerkraut and smoked sausage. After a few sips my tastebuds figured it out and the tastes melded. My first Lichtenhainer and it seemed true to what I expected. Nice job again Witch's Hat (and Grizzly Peak).

 

I just want to let everyone know that Odd Side knocked it out of the ballpark yesterday for their BBIMM release party!

Great job to Reid, Chris, Ryan and many other names I know I missed. Everyone has a great time and the beers were excellent, too!

Keep up the great work!

I did my best to get in and out, trying to conquer a sinus infection and so beer is an afterthought at this point... albeit I couldn't pass up an Odd Side release lol.

 

Saw they had it on tap but bitched out and got out of there as soon as I got my bottles. Glad to see the consensus on Joker was just meh, I feel better now.
