I was at the Brew Dog TV taping on Sat @ OB.
I thought the beer was alright, summery with some citrus. The BD guy kept talking about "burning pirate ships" as a flavor profile, but I didn't really get any smoke from it. Any smoke flavor seemed to come from the slice of beef wrapped around a slice of prickly pear cactus that they garnished the beer with.

It is a great concept beer, malt smoked with smoked beef from the Hops and Heifers farm, with the meat juices and fat dripping onto the malt, prickly pear cactus and powered by some way entirely by the sun, without using electricity up on Mt Evans.
I don't know that I'll pick any up when it's released, but it's worth a try. They were serving it from unlabeled 19.2oz cans.

Hopefully they'll end up selling this at the TW like they did with the Deuce and Oskar the G'rauch.

They didn't say anything about distro. I would assume since it is primarily Brew Dogs deal, it might get their distribution.
And now that I think about it, it may have been 16oz cans, definitely tall boys.
I don't recall if they've even said what they plan on naming the beer
