Doesn't a 1 time use "growler" defeat the purpose of "growler"?

I mean, I get it.... another can.... but... cmon.

With the O2 being removed and sealed, the beer should stay good a lot longer than a standard growler fill

When I think about the purpose of the growler, a couple things come to mind. Number one would be to take home beer fresh from the source. Number two would be to take home beer that is some sort of specialty, one off, brewery only beer.

In my opinion the "crowler" takes care of those things plus more. And if Its better for the environment and recyclable, I'm with it.

Got a crowler of BA Ten Fiddy a week ago this past Friday and drank it this past week. It was awesome as usual.

Given the usually short supply, I'm pretty surprised they would fill a Crowler with a BA Ten FIDY, but I'm sure glad they will. Now I just need to actually get there while they have some.

As far as I've heard, Tasty Weasel is the only location with the Crowler machine.

To be frank, it really won't matter the cost, I'll have to go for it regardless. But it would be nice to be prepared. Though a glass of BA Ten FIDY is a proven remedy for Sticker Shock.

I'm trying to find out what their release will be for Tasty Tuesday tomorrow, but I haven't seen it listed anywhere online and they haven't responded yet via Facebook.

I know they have a chalkboard in the tap room, has anyone been recently that made note of what's upcoming?

I've been wondering this too, do they ever list what they'll have on tap?

It was $20 for the crowler; $17 if you're an AHA member......every little bit helps

Since the BA Fiddy was a firkin being hand pulled, it wasn't like it was pressure filled or had the O2 removed prior to pumping it out. Can got a bit "warped" in the fridge for the week prior to quaffing it.

Those are prices for barrel aged fills, crowler included. My buddy brought over coffee chub the other day and said it was $8 total.
