Well 6 days of crowler possession would put me on Saturday (AKA Beer Drinking Day). Let's hope that all these crazy releases and PtY tappings keep me distracted this week...

Did you ever end up sending it? If so how did it travel? I'm planning on shipping one out next week, so i'm curious how well it ships.

They ship fine, I've sent 2 back east in the last month.

I figured that they would, but wanted to hear from someone who had done it. Would hate to have it blow up in transit.

It definitely got there just fine. I'll ask if he has opened it yet

I have an old growler from back when the Lyons brewpub used to sell them. Does anyone know if I can still get it filled in Lyons or Longmont?

I wouldn't think it'd be a problem as I saw glass growlers at The Tasty Weasel.

I received a Crowler of Rum 10/50 from a generous CO trader, and held on to it for 7 weeks until I was able to share it amongst friends. It held up unbelievably well and tasted like it had just been poured. I love the concept!

At the Tasty Weasel right meow. Just filled two crowlers of BA Ten FIDY.

Well everybody, I did it. I managed to hold on to my crowler of BA Ten FIDY for an entire month. It still tastes phenomenal however I can't help but notice just a tad bit of oxidation. In the future I will open it sooner but honestly it's still great.

My friend opened his on March 15, filled Feb 9.
He said it poured and tasted fantastic.

I got a crawler fill of Dry Hopped Dale's for $8. It got buried in the back of my fridge and forgotten for about 3, maybe 4 weeks. Unfortunately, it was pretty oxidized when I opened it up. Made it through about 10-12 ounces before I had to dump it. I blame myself though, gotta drink the hoppy beers fresh. I'd imagine the ten tidy would do a lot better.

Shipped my first crowler to my buddy in Indy. Filled on 3/14, he drank it 3/22 and said the carbonation has a little light but no signs of oxidation. Not sure if the carbonation was specific to the beer (Raspberry Saison) or a result of shipping.

Bought a crowler of Gordon for $8 yesterday and drank it last night, delicious. It's too bad I can never find fresh cans of that stuff.

Saisons should be relatively high in carbonation, so probably result of shipping. Only bummer about these Crowlers is that they aren't compatible with my tap-it-cap, but I guess I could transfer it to a growler.

And next time someone from Denver goes up to get a Crowler of BA Ten Fidy let me know, I'd love to try it and will make it worth your while. Not sure if they'll have it again until next fall though?

I should have brought one to your tasting last weekend.

I was in last Wednesday. Asked about BA Fidy (mostly because I owe another crowler to a friend in a trade -- and they haven't had it on in ages!) and when I asked the bar manager about it he said, "oh yeah, dude...I don't even have one in the cooler right now but you call all the time and I'll get one on in short order!" Or something like that. So sounds like def on before fall . If it's fall, my trade buddy will shoot me!

Well TenFIDY is seasonal, so I presumed BA TenFIDY was as well, unless they break out kegs all year... I dunno, just speculating.
