What argument? ABV? Pale ales can be 6.5%. A 6.5% beer isn't defaultly an IPA because it's hoppy.

What argument? ABV? India pale ales can be 6.5%. A 6.5% beer isn't defaultly an APA because it's malty.

They could can six different IPA's and I'd buy em' all! Any new canned and national distro offering from OB is welcome to me. Now what I would like to see is their barleywine canned and distributed every holiday season!

'Cept the can says "Pale Ale", smartass. I'm not wasting any more time arguing linguistics.

I see a lot of debates on styles, but I'd have to say I've never had a bad "fresh" IPA. Most lousy IPAs are just old and stale. Some are better than others, but fresh is a must.

At 65 IBUs, Dale's is not even close to a pale ale by either Brewers' Association or BJCP standards. It's near the upper end of the American IPA guidelines, with both calling for a maximum of 70 IBUs.

I've have many of their offerings but they have dropped off my radar and I'm not sure why. I just remember trying Gordon for the first time.....man that was damn good.
