Oskar Blues is in my top 10-15 breweries! Love Dales, Deviant, Old Chub, Ten Fidy and G'Knight!! Also great, fun place to visit. All 3 places are unique and have their own style going on!!

It's whatever the brewer calls it.

Correct. I've heard all the "even the brewer says it's an IPA" comments, but bottom line is it's called a pale ale and to me it is squarely a pale ale.

OB in general? Ok brewery, not even close to the best. I agree that G'Knight is their best beer. Awesome when fresh.

G'Knight is criminally good fresh from the brewery....

I've never had G'Knight so I will definitely pick that up next time I am in the store. What makes G'Knight better in your opinion?

According to my notes the hops & malts stood out greatly. IMO, G'Knight falls more into the DIPa category.

I will make sure of that. What do you think - no more than 30 days out?

    Gave Gordon/G'Knight again tonight...nope.

Didn't do it for me though I do believe my can was an older one. Too much alcohol present, quite chewy, and almost a bubble gum taste to it. Total bummer...especially after that initial whiff of it, the aroma was great and had me all excited.

Had to pass. Date on the bottom was December. I will wait until I can find some fresher. Looking forward to it, just not too sure how often we get fresh Oskar Blues down here in Atlanta.

looking for to picking up Deviant tomorrow - but I wouldn't consider OB to be a top notch brewery. Yella Pils is one of the worst craft pils I have ever had. G'Knight, I quite love. Dale's is a solid BBQ brew

Their beers are alright I guess. Expensive and in cans. I like the option of cans for when I'm going outdoors or something but otherwise I'd prefer bottles. I haven't had their stuff on tap ever though. Decent beer, poor prices, and a rather imperial heavy selection (at least what my area gets). There are many breweries I'd rather have distribute to my area instead of Oskar Blues. My two cents on this issue.

Big fan of Gubna, Dales and Ten FIDY. At one point I was not enthusiastic about Ten FIDY but after trying numerous numerical RIS's, i now consider it among the better ones out there. Love the cans.

Just found the date on the can and it is around 1 month old...so age wasn't much of an issue here. Just not a fan of this one which is a total bummer as I was really excited to give it another try given my recent interest in hoppier reds.

i think they are one of the most solid breweries there are when you go style by style, but apparently that is just me

i also think dale's pale ale is their best beer. just stellar, probably a top 10 beer for me, and i don't even get OB here

speaking of which, it still kind of rubs me the wrong way that you can get their shit on both coasts but not nebraska. c'mon
