I've had their whole lineup, it's all good, but G'Knight and TenFidy are by far the best they brew.

drinking my last Deviant right now. LOVE this beer. got it in MA for about $13.50 for a 4 pack of 16 oz, pretty fair for the quality. I wouldnt have put OB on my list of all time favs, even though Ten Fidy is a top all time fav, but if Deviant does end up being a year round release that consistently makes it to my state, i will be glad to bump them up on the list.

I agree with the love for Oskar. and if you go to the brewery in Longmont they sometimes have special stuff. Had an incredible Barrel-Aged Ten Fidy last December.

Had Gubna for the first time tonight. It was pretty intense and I see why people describe the onion-like characteristic it has and, as a fan of big hoppy beers and a hater of onions, I approve of this beer. I was craving a hoppy son-of-a-gun and it satisfied furr shurr. Ten-Fidy is probably the best canned beer I've had besides Heady Topper (depends on whether I'm craving Stout or IPA). Dale's is just disgustingly drinkable and I wish I could get it all the time to take on fishing/hunting/camping trips.

    Cheers!

Agreed to all of the mentions of G*Knight. Good stuff. Have not had it in awhile so I do not remember if it matches up to Nugget Nectar or Lagunitas Imperial Red. I will have to pick it up sometime again. *Edit* Mamas Little Yellow is also damn good pilsner.

I have to admit that I have never tried Gubna or Ten Fidy. Both have been on my list for some time, but the high price tag always sends me away. One of these days....

Anyone seen Deviant Dales in the NC? Specifically Boone, Hickory, Charlotte area?

Why do I see this written but not followed.

Deviant Dale's is called an IPA by Oskar Blues, even won a GABF award for American IPA and BA lists it as an Imperial/Double IPA. Most likely because of the ABV I assume but what happened to the whatever the brewer calls it?

I'd call it an ipa. Just because BA lists it as something that doesn't make it law. I disagree with a handful of classifications of beer on this site. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't much matter.

Just have to chime in my appreciation for one of my all-around favorite breweries. And to people discussing price, consider this (just throwing out numbers, make your own assessments here):

Someone said they got a 4-pack of 16 oz cans of Deviant Dales for $13.50. That comes to $0.21/oz.
Even $18 for a 4-pack of 12 oz cans of, say, Gubna or Ten Fidy (which is a higher price than I've ever seen) comes to $0.38/oz.
A $10 bomber of anything comes to $0.45/oz.

While I know a lot of people refuse to spend $10 on a bomber, it is a very common (and often low) price point to see for this format in my experience. And, as others have pointed out, OB beer is top notch.

Not to mention, the Lyons brewery is one of my favorite breweries that I've ever been to. The food is great, the beer is awesome, and you gotta love a brewery that has that much appreciation for good music. Oh, and the whole can thing - I like that. Oskar Blues...and boom goes the dynamite.
