Hop Debacle is good stuff, however 14-16 dollar 6 packs is tough to swallow for some. Id buy it all day at 10, but I suppose since they had a good response it won't drop in price.

When you consider the prices of other NE styles, it's actually not bad. Trillium and Transient are $20 per 4-pack, Treehouse is $4-7 per can, and places like Veil, Alchemist, Moonraker, and Aslin don't give away their beer.

You should remove The Alchemist from your list. Compared to what most of these others are charging, The Alchemist are practically giving beer away at 12.50 per 4 pack. If I lived up there that's probably all I would drink.

Ahh, well we don't get any of those up here so I was not aware. I was sticker shocked when I first saw it at $16 and I initially passed on it, just bought a single. But then I found it for $13 at another store and bought a sixer of it. No way id spend $20 a four pack, but that's me. Its a good style for sure, but for $20 id rather buy some 12% barrel aged stuff!

Trillium, Transient, and Alchemist are worth their prices, easy. The Alchemist stuff is some of the best value in beer, honestly. The rest, eh, especially not Tree House (though their stouts are worth the money).

Next batch of Hop Debacle should be out in a week or so. :grinning:

Never found any of this beer until I finally stumbled across a 6 pack from early March last week. Still drinking good for me!

I heard they were going to tweak it a little to be less bitter and more fruity than the 1st batch. Did you notice that?

I thought the first batch was pretty much grapefruit and orange juice and wasn't all that piney.

Went through a couple 6ers and thought it was really good. Not up with the best but better than most. Would be happy to have it regularly.

It's not bad. Certainly not great but it's more than solid. The pricing hurts a little bit though.

Easily the NE style IPA Wisconsin has distributed (possibly brewed) thus far. I think it is well worth the $$. Especially for anyone who wan't to give this style of IPA a try, without having to trade.

Considering the amount of hops used to make this beer and the price of hops right now I think the price is in line where it should be.

I think it is well priced. What do people pay for trillium, tree house, and tired hands?

So, it's been about a year since the Tradeships and Bosbes. What's next?
