It makes about as much sense as if I were to give my friend who is a vegetarian a piece of steak and ask him if it tastes off....DOH!!

If your friend was a vegetarian who ate meat 2-3 times a week, then yeah...you got me. Once again, your reading comprehension reminds me of a toddler.

 

I was pointing out the abusrdity of your post, your wife doesn't drink beer so you give her a taste of a beer you think is bad and ask her what she thinks? That's just as aburd as asking somebody who doesn't eat meat if they taste something wrong with a piece of meat. If they did try they have no point of reference on what it should taste like.

 

Last I have to say about this, and PLEASE, read slowly (maybe even 2 or 3 times!) so you understand.

That doesnt say she doesnt drink beer. It means she has a beer 2-3 times a week, not 2-3 beers a night like me, and most of the time she also usually has a taste of what I'm drinking instead of a full pour. I usually have her do this as she is a wine drinker and can pick out nuances of the beer that I cannot. She doesn't read any thing posted on here (reviews or posts) and can usually describe a beer to me w/o knowing anything about it.

Back on topic....anybody hitting up CW the same weekend as this release?

 

I assumed it meant she shot gunned beers or went the beer bong route with the way it was worded. Good times.

 

I don't buy anything from Oso in 750ml format. Not because of flatness (which I've gotten in regular 12 oz bottles) but because I don't believe in paying $12+ for said beer. That said, they've been known to have some issues with quality but from what I can tell things have drastically improved from where they started. They have a lab now for testing and are making efforts to make sure things are right upon release.

On a side note, the new sweet lady stout is pretty damn nice! Its hard to impress me with lighter ABV style beers but this one did. Whats even better is I can hop on my bike and ride on down to the taphouse anytime I like (less then a mile away) and they always have delicious stuff on tap.

Now, play nice children. Happy Friday the 13th! I hope all your bottles turn out well in a few weeks. I'll be there to taste but not to buy.

 

I got a cash refund for my purchase it was a choice between beer or a cash refund. Same options I got from CW when I returned my infected Peruvian Morning.

 

You said, "She doesn't even drink beer like I do." That could be taken as she doesn't drink any beer, that doesn't drink the same beers as you, it could be taken many different ways. Once you get a better grasp of grammer then there will be less of a chance of posters not misunderstanding the point you are attempting to make.
