I just wanted to give a shout out to O'so. I've never been a great fan of theirs but I stopped there yesterday while I was up north for the CW party. Wee on the Lam was available in bottles so I took a shot in the dark and bought a few. I'm drinking it now and it is pretty fantastic. It reminds me a lot of La Folie. Maybe a smidgen less sour at the moment.

Also took a shot and bought a few on beerwolf77's sour power recommendation. Glad I did. Had it after the CW party and it's very nice. This weekend's sleeper beer for sure.

Try any BA Night Train? Looking forward to grabbing a bottle of each.

The bottle offerings I have had in n. WI are okay to good. The tap offerings I sampled last summer when I spent a weekend in Plover were good to excellent. Made a fan out of me.

BA Night Train was good but with the amount of amazing BA Stouts out there it doesn't quite stack up IMO.

I'd like to also say that Marc and crew are doing some really nice stuff at O'so. The Wee on the Lam is a really nice beer, I enjoy it great. The BA Night Train on tap was good...I heard they used the four best barrels for the bottles, and I'm anxious to give it a try.
One more thing about O'so, they seriously have a fantastic tap list. A good variety (with their beers included) of styles, and support the Wisconsin craft scene. WI Belgian Red on tap, in January? Awesome...Central Waters BA Stout, thank you! Keep up the good work.

Beerwolf77 opened a bottle for us at O'so on Saturday before CW and it was excellent. It's hard to believe the ABV is 10%, because I didn't notice any alcohol in the taste. Great job with this one O'so!

These are supposed to get limited distribution, right?

I don't think Marc HELD any back for distro, and BA Night Train was gone by the time CW opened Saturday and Wee was down to about 9 cases or so...

O'so had a very limited amount of the first two 750 ml bottles for distribution, so we did not suggest any go to the chain stores throughout the state, so one chain didn't get bragging rights and the others get mad for not getting any. This time around, you'll have to seek them out at the smaller stores.

We do plan on doing these beers and others again and often, so it should get easier to find them as the year goes on. For now, these beers go on sale at 3 p.m. today, January 25th at the Tap House, so don't forget to stop by if you are traveling, but if you can't, some places you might find them throughout the state, provided the distributors picked them up on time for the release would be the following: Liquor Port, Market Place, Ridgeway (GB), Three Cellars, Timers, Avenue Wine & Spirits, Party Port, Jennifer Street, Barriques, Steve's, Riley's Star Liquor, Mars Cheese Castle, Rays, Discount, Cellars, Club Liquor, Casanova's, Chicone's, The Side Note, Viking Express, Zinkes, Festival (Mfld.), Kelly's, Trig's (Pt.), JR Liquor, and Bottle Stop. The beer is very limited, so don't wait around most places allotment is not going to last! O'so will have 33 cases of each Wee on the Lam and Bourbon Barrel and not have any limits! Have an O'so great weekend everyone! Katina

I read that as well, but read it wrong the first time, as I thought it said IF there is any left. Cheers

the reviews for this one are slowly trickling in, but it seems like more people think its a gem. right now climbing up the ladder of top new beers, and is currently sitting at #3 overall for its style.

Has anyone popped a bottle of Bourbon Night Train? I've had it on tap a few times and enjoyed it. The bottles are supposed to be from some of the best barrels so I wonder how they (draft v bottle) compare.

Thought Wee on the Lamn was very nice actually. It wasn't anything next level, but it's a nice, crushable sour from a brewery I could take or leave.
