Other dark fruit bombs?

    I think the bourbon tames it for me. I really can't compare DL to anything else as it tasted completely different to me. Maybe the bourbon DL would be perfect, but unsure I would want to trade an arm and leg to try it.

    Arcadia Cereal Killer with age on it is a nasty raisin and prune mess. Don't know how it is fresh.

    Kuhnhenn 4D and BB4D are dark fruit bombs in the best kind of way.

    sooooo good. had the 2012 two weeks ago and the 2009 last Friday. the 2009 had no carbonation and was basically a "port-beer" which I really liked. Overall, I like a little carbonation so the 2012 was right up my alley. Definitely a top 5 beer for me

    It's not a problem for me man. I love big, dark, roasty beers and alot if sweet ones. I don't mind the fruit in dark ales and alot of Belgians either, I just can't understand the appeal of that overly syrupy sweet plum flavor in DL but to each his own. I'm just trying to avoid wasting my cash on them again.
