"triple trub tequila poor low re-negotiated wage mosaic dream"

Edit: when I read "available at both locations today, I think "Trillium AND OH????" rather than Trillium's multiple spots.

okay....? that's a weird perspective to have. Who else is handsome that I should be sure to know?

But maybe you can forgive me not placing their good hearts so easily. It was a couple years before this heart-melting instagram post. I'll be sure to not be so slow next time.

Going to a bar and ordering and then paying for 6 of your own beers is quite the power play. That takes some BDE.

Haha I know. What an odd move.

I find it really weird you didn’t recognize them. I mean they are both so fucking hot

My apologies. I meant no harm; it was only intended as a tribute to them.

speaking of tributes, I'd like to pay a tribute to the friendly OH bartender yesterday (the one that looks like a smaller version of the bigger wrestler guy) who offered up a few tasters of SGE and Wangies while I waited for a growler fill. He also was telling me about the new HUGE vats that were being installed while I was there. Whole new brew system going in, with the old ones being shipped up to rochester. Apparently it will allow the brewers to work more efficiently and now there will be separate systems for IPA and Sours. At least, I think that's how I remembered it.

and I was surprised how much I dug Wangies. I tend to not like the rye beers, but I guess lactose makes everything better. *ducks

I wonder, does Other Half adjust their packaging/release schedule based on can availability? Seems like we're getting drops later in the week while also having a lot more cans available.

Likely a fridge storage space issue. They can only house so many cans.

No worries. It's actually a nice juxtaposition to what we were discussing about social media presence. On one hand you have Grimm that always shows photos of their staff and ties in pregnancy announcements to the selling of hats. On the other hand you have OH which is just photos of cans. I don't know which is the better use of instagram but I know what I prefer.

"This is our newest employee, Timothy Winterbottom, who is fondly known as 'Lil Timmy' and we love him for everything he contributes to the place. When he's not working the canning line or cleaning out the tanks (or working his other gig, making artisanal carvings out of reclaimed Swedish driftwood), he can be found behind the bar serving our visiting homies from Zagovor Brewery."

I gotta be honest I don't really care who is making the beer- master, head, canning line, whatever. As a rule I try to get know my bartenders and tip them well, and on principle I appreciate and try to celebrate/promote businesses that pay their employees a living wage.

And between pics of collaborators, cans, and those awful videos of bubbling swirling mystery liquid in tanks, I much prefer simple pictures of upcoming cans that I can easily refer back to when picking my beer based on its packaging instead of what it looked like while being brewed or how much facial hair the brewers have.

This batch of triple SD is amazing. If you’re a galaxy head and haven’t had this yet, I think it hasn’t sold out yet. At least according to most recent IG story.

Wondering how they tweaked the recipe to make it so much smoother than the last batches... more oats perhaps? It’s significantly better.

Ice Cream beer is unsurprisingly a mess, it doesn’t taste bad but the component flavors are so muddled that it doesn’t really taste anything like i assume they were going for.

So when should we expect the first OH/ Kanger’s New Brewery collab?

Sheesh, it seemed like it was just yesterday that everybody was all, "Please, please, please tell me if this is a double batch!!!!"

We used to be all Oliver Twist saying ‘Please Sir can I have some more?’ and now we spend most of our time dunking on them for not living up to our refined palates.
