Was about to start bitching about all the exclusive cans in Rochester and why were still sending cans up there when they don't reciprocate, but it looks like cans of orange chroma are for sale in the taproom (along with 11 other cans!)

It's because of social media. Thanks to limited releases, Instagram, and the ticking culture of Untappd, chasing brews is 50% to have good beer and 50% to let the world know that you're having good beer.

I think long-term, Rochester is going to be great for us. There's got to be so much more room to expand.

Doing an NYC beer trip next weekend. Staying with the in laws in queens. Im free all day Saturday to do whatevs. Starting at OH first thing in the AM and working my way back. Will swing by threes to grab some lagers to add to the mix. Also can get some singles at the threes shop. Also Grimm is a definite. Trying to determine if I should give the majority of my budget to OH or Grimm. Love both, I guess it depends on what is released that day. Plan on sitting on my spoils for awhile and OH does seem to hold up extremely well, so that factor will come into play. 4-6 weeks in can is the OH sweet spot, but even at 2 months they still good. Other breweries fall to shit by then. Anyways finback and evil twin are other possibilities depending on what’s available. Any tips, recs?

Depending on where you're at in Queens, keep an eye on LIC and Singlecut.

As per Finback/ET, you can have a great day starting with Grimm and visiting Interboro, The Well (possibly best craft beer bar in NYC and highlights our awesome distro), KCBC, Evil Twin, Finback. If you're a check all the boxes person, then check out KCBC and Interboro while you're out that way.

4-6 weeks is about 2 weeks past the sweet spot imo, but to each their own.

Splitting between OH/Grimm definitely depends on what is released and what hops you fancy!

$24 a 4 pack, is this first time one of these type of beers cost that much?

Is this the first $24 non-collab beer?

Also, it's so weird to me that the brewery I just bought Ain't Nothing Nice from (which is awesome btw) also has a "pie sour IPA series". You'd think the two things couldn't exist together, but hey, here we are.

Will be skipping this weekend. Maybe a mid-week will intrigue, but will wait for my end of summer beers next week. What is everyone hoping for in terms of a Labor day weekend release?

Experimental All-Citra for me! but will gladly take ACE and Space Diamonds.

I haven't found a weekend release worth going to in what seems like months. I need more than one appealing 4 pack to get off my lazy ass. And although that HDHC is tempting, I haven't gotten a raise recently enough to keep up with beer inflation.

Gotta assume we'll be seeing Trillium & Parish collabs in the next few weeks. Wouldn't be surprised to see that for Labor Day weekend release.

Let me know if you like the taste of cobbler jams this weekend. I am thinking about making a hot sauce with those ingredients minus the lactose
