Young blood’s comment I can understand. But Phreeballing you spend enough time in this thread - how could you have possibly taken my post seriously? I thought we were above obligatory smiley emojis. What happened to you out there on/in line yesterday?

Two jersey heavies: “look at this fucker. Let’s steal his sense of humor and stick it in our truck along with our full case allotment of every beer”

The "why do you care what other people do" argument is funny to me. What's the cut off?

I make fun of a plethora of people for numerous things. We in this thread do the same. Do the things they do directly effect me? Of course not. Is it still worthy of mocking? Of course. Seems pretty thin-skinned to get upset at people poking fun at you for something that is definitely worthy of that. Are we not allowed to make fun of others ever?

The cutoff is clearly at "why do you care that I care what other people do."

If there's a line today, I'm moving to Rochester.

Exactly my point earlier. Have a sense of humor - I think standing in lines is worth mocking but I also take a ribbing from some of my buddies and family members who are disdainful of craft beer in general. IMO it’s better to laugh it off and give some good humored shit back than be all defensive and pissy about it.

If that was truly the cut-off do the "why do you care people" never make fun of anyone else for anything ever? I'd love to hear their opinions on people waiting in line for k-pop tickets or some fad dessert like cronuts. I have a pretty good feeling what they would say.

The lines are there bc the breweries with no distro have a gray market going. It's a business, mules wait in line bc it's their job/side hustle. Others do it for fun, people actually like standing around drinking with their friends and making new friends trading beers.

Had space ghost in tap, it was good, it was space diamonds with others stuff in it. I rather have space diamonds though. I'm glad I missed out since this super purple chrome looks more like my bag.

It's BA nobody names anything, they just give veiled praise/criticism to mysterious unnamed establishments.

But it was Harlem Hops, great spot.

Exactly. Thankfully this is pretty much a thing of the past, but as you say this is one of the reasons why these lines and the behavior that goes with it are a bad thing. In extreme cases like Sand City, lines contributed to the tap room being shut down for 6 months.

This is definitely not the place to frequent if you can’t handle a little ribbing.

Making fun of people is a great American past time. There is no limit to who and what I will mock. Nothing is off limits.

About 8 cases of HDHC Citra Daydream left. Sold out of both Lima and Double Purple Chroma cans. No more single-hop Galaxy or HDHC Citra Daydream on draft, Lima is still pouring.

Also damn all this new blood can't take a joke. If your first post is an inflammatory comment maybe you shouldn't post it.

Do they usually have recent OH cans for in-house consumption? Don't see em on their untappd page. Just moved up to Harlem and it'd be nice to not make an hour-long trip every time I want OH.

I know you didn’t mean anything by this, but huge k-pop fan here. Lining up 18 hours for BTS tix was the best decision I ever made and I’d do it again in a heartbeat - as I imagine most red blooded males would. But anyway - kpop is beyond reproach so slow your roll there.

That some of us have been put on the 1, 5, and 30-day Irreverent Reserve for our shenanigans should tell anyone joining this thread what we're really about.

cmon other half thread, you all sound like a bunch of 12 years olds giving each other wedgies- you are better than this! Sounds like Space diamonds is just just a typical OH beer? I don't mean that in a negative way, I like several OH beers, but I am only going to try to trade for it if it is better than Space Diamonds or Ghost diamonds. Thoughts?

I feel like a square... I've only had post deleted for being off topic.

Space Diamonds is the best beer in the world, not typical unfortunately with all the Willy Wonka beers lately, but yeah OH kicks ass when they punch you in the tongue with a hop (or two, bring back the dial hops!).
