Other Half (2019)

I’m probably wrong but doesn’t it usually mean a double batch when OH does the multicolored labels? I plan on rolling in around 1030-11

 

I apologize if this has already been discussed in the 123 pages, but I didn't see it on page 1, 121, 122, or 123 (nor on OH FAQs) so I'm giving up and asking.
When does the taproom open on Saturday AMs? I see OH opens at 10, is that just for can sales and then taproom opens at noon? Something along those lines?
Also, having never been to Other Half, but plenty of experience with MA & VT beer lines, I'm curious what is a typical Saturday line? Maybe not typical, but what I might be looking at if I showed up at 10 this Saturday since I'll be in town for the Mets game.

Saturdays they open at 10 altogether. If you don't want cans, feel free to stroll into the taproom.

 

I looked it up, does look like that OG Hop Showers can!

As someone else said taproom opens at 10 with can sales out of the warehouse. Line shouldn't be too terrible, although with this HV collab, who knows if it will end up being bad. If that wasn't announced it would have been minimal IMO.

 

I plan on lurking on this forum making fun of everyone who is kind enough to give a line update.

 

Hope this HVB collab doesn’t turn what I hoped would be a low-key Stacks/Mylar day into a shitshow.

If you are going to a Mets game i would suggest Hard Liquor and not beer.

In his defense, he made one thoughtful and earnest point about the importance of civility and got shit on by the masses. Can't really blame him for not wanting to be part of this, as "fun" as it is.

 

When was the last ACE drop? Just finished my last one and the date stamp wore off. I thought it was just a few weeks old, but I didn’t see it on Instagram any time after late June. (I didn’t save it to go head to head with this weekends release) Thanks!

 

Cmon, he had to know wading into this thread there would be a mix of reactions. He quit based on a couple of people who rarely post in this thread throwing 5th grade insults at him, I wish he stayed but quitting site is very weak.

 

August 3rd was last release.

 

It's weaker to endlessly deal with kindergarten bullshit on a message board than it is to liberate yourself from all that and live your life without such nonsense? Pretty sure the guy knew what he was doing and that it didn't stem from weakness.

If you ever want to buy him a beer some day, he'll be the quiet dude drinking alone in a corner with a book. Not many tend to fit this description so your odds are pretty good.

Seriously just tell him to thicken that skin and get on back. Seemed like a good dude and an original poster. The internet can obviously be a foul place, and parts of BA have their moments. But genuinely I think this forum is 99% good-natured. Yes there was some atypical bad juju floating around after @Phreeballing fell off the wagon and started lining up for beer again (joking Phreeballing ), but also worth pointing out that Olmsted (using admittedly excellent English) did essentially criticize someone else - it wasn’t like he just posted a stand-alone post and got dumped on. If you want to call someone out then be prepared for a response. Some of the other responses were unnecessary for sure. I’ve seen (and been on the receiving end myself) significantly worse though.
