Wow. 2 beers with Centennial! What is this, 2006? Looks like I’m leaving work early tomorrow.

When I first started reading the post, the first 3 beers made me shake my head in disgust. However, they have completely redeemed themselves!

I wish we'd get more throwback hop beers. I love CTZ hops. Citra+Columbus as the next dual hop!

Why would anybody ever do that? Leave it in IPAs and Berliners where it belongs!

I'm waiting for the eventual Cricket DREAM.

Had Darkness Descends with Coffee/Maple last night, thought it was a really good beer. Wasn't overly thick in mouthfeel, good flavor, but didn't get a ton of maple from it which I didn't mind as I'm on Team Coffee with the Peckerhead and Chief Philosophy Officer.

I was going to go at lunch time but I talked myself out of it thinking that there was no way people don't have better things to do on a Friday afternoon in October...

Used to live pretty close to OH and frequented the OG spot. While always dominated by IPAs, the vibe was always chill and low key. Recently returned on a Friday night. Based on the experience, I am shocked by the fanfare OH still garners.

Upon entering, I could barely hear myself speak. Loud pop music was blasting through the speaker system to the point the venue felt more like a club than a brewery. And the clientele looked like "clubbers" too. People dressed to the 9s all focused on their appearance.

And the beer - 20 beers on tap with 17/20 all IPAs, most of which had Citra. This brewery seems to release the same beer over and over with little variety. There were two stouts and an imperial berliner weisse. The one stout I tried was extremely cloying and diabetes inducing to the point I had difficulty finishing my 4 ounce pour. The berliner was a jolly rancher in a glass, way too sweet as well. I am all for pushing the envelope and experimentation, but a berliner should not be imperial. Ruins the style.

This brewery has become the Half they set out not to be. All they focus on is the hop trend, with a lesser emphasis on the pastry stout trend. Consider them the "Wrong Half." May as well be called Citra Citra Citra.

I realize people are going to attack me for this, but just speaking my thoughts. I will no longer be supporting this brewery.

I got there at 145 and the degarde beer was gone. How many cases did they have - 6? It was a two 4 pack limit. That was the only reason I went today.

Really shouldn’t have agreed to help a coworker for 20 mins on my way out the door.
