    They haven't done a HDHC ACE yet, just the HDHC More Citra (which was great). I think @SpinSamzo and I were saying we liked all the HDHC stuff they have done thus far, except for HDHC Triple Mosaic.

    110% we had this discussion Sat as well. its just the new DDH, they are just hopping the beer a bit more than the prior version, at this point they are all marketing terms to put a new spin on it, when really there are either more hops added each time its hopped or an additional round of hopping in this brew

    Does anyone know if Experimental ACE was actually HDHC ACE (before they came up with the catchy "branding" for it)? Because that batch was fire.

    I don't think so, I think that was with a new gel/liquid version of Citra hops, where the HDHC is just a more intense hopping of the beer?

    I think that is correct. This explanation of what HDHC is from More Citra mentions the same experimental hop product. Experimental ACE was incredible.

    For those of you with food allergies -- does this reach peak allergen levels? Trying to think of which of their beers is most likely to accidentally induce anaphylactic shock.

    I don't know what you guys are saying. That drink sounds amazing, though I could do without the maple in every single one.

    Yea I could see this working well with the Crunchee format. Still waiting for them to do the blueberry again though.

    Maple Syrup is like the best part of these pastry sours tho. How was the Banana one btw? Kinda sad I missed it.

    I didn't like it much, very reminiscent of the Burley Oak collab from a few months back. Definitely a contender for my least favorite Crunchee so far.

    I liked the 4oz I had, but wouldn't much more than that. I did a cuvee with coffee double sunset which was very good, but I was also a little drunk at that point.

    Disagree. The fruit is the best part! I'll chug some maple syrup any time any place, but it doesn't necessarily go with everything.
