We've semi gotten that with double sunset. Maybe they'll push that more frequently?

Having my Nighthawks now, very nice, dare I say "balanced"? Thinking of doming some gingerbread next, for science of course.

FWIW only 7/21 beers on tap currently with lactose (including the stouts which aren't explicit). Lower than our bitching suggests.

Also, Citra hop most used in 8/21 (Mosaic second, 7/21). And these hops are used together in 5 beers, forming what we may call a hop majority coalition.

Galaxy is 3rd tonight, in 6 beers. Close race!

Sorry, 8/21, missed the lactose in Cobbler Jams...bitching justified?

I might be going to OH finally, for the first time, this Saturday. I’m kinda excited yet also kinda intimidated. I dunno what to expect, for being a longtime lurker here you’d think I’d know what the fuck the deal is by now.

What am I looking at as far as wait times these days? I’m not looking to score a big release beer or anything... is it better to go later in the day or whatever to avoid the madness? With the holiday hangover maybe it won’t be so bad...or maybe exact the opposite since it’s the first weekend of the new year.

Nothing on that list looks like it will create a scene, though I could see 3 of the beers gone by noon to 2ish with a steady flow of traffic. If you know there's a beer you want, get there at 11ish to avoid a line and know you'll get it. If you're visiting a few spots while in the city, most other breweries don't open until noon or so anyways making OH a great start.

I suspect a lot of the saturday taproom crowd will be lying low after new years.

Just stop at FandF or Court Street Grocers On the way and you’ll have a great little Saturday afternoon. Then stop at folksbier on the way home . . .

Awesome. I can’t wait. Staying over in red hook, we’ll probably Uber or something over that way. F&F was always in the back of my mind, plus Folksbier especially. I’m a lager junkie.

Back in 2016 my sister got married in Manhattan KS, and I was still so smitten with OH that I carried many of their beers to her wedding which I memorialized on IG. It is only from this horribly vain record that I recall how tasty Lime Green Galaxies was. There's another #2020wish since they're #boroughbrothers soon.

Had nighthawks at the tap room and I thought it was much better than the Untappd ratings.

actually made a little cocktail with it. Threw in some mezcal and club soda. Was for the wife. I don’t do beers in cocktails.

The bigger question is will they now do all previous anniversary IPA's this year again and how Wild that banana is going to be.
