Other Half (2019)

Superfun! was tasting good last night. Would be great for the summer. the double fruit dream was a bit different than I thought it would be, but pretty good. Nice to be able to grab just 2 cans of Superfun.

I saw them wheeling bottle cases into the cool room, can't wait to at least try this All 5th Stout

 

as a side note, I went to that Aslin take over at Bar Great Harry a few blocks from OH. Man their Neutrino is tasting amazing this batch. Wondering/hoping theres an Aslin/OH collab brewing

 

this X100. everyone is being quiet about when they are going because it'll cause hysteria. i wish other half had some rules about lining up too early like ive heard some other places do...

 

Prediction: post comes at about 7 am saying line is to court st, followed by at least 2 posts saying “going back to bed then”

Realistically I don't think I'll get there until 8:30-9 at the earliest. Hoping it's like last year and there's plenty of 5th anni to go around. Would love to get 4th as well, but it won't be the end of the world if I miss out. As hazegramps was basically saying, there's gonna be more great beer next weekend too. Hopefully some of our times overlap and we get to hang a bit at the unofficial BA meet up.

For as much fun as it is to bicker and complain, I would like to say congrats to OH on 5 years of some really world-class beer. Excited to see what they've got planned for the future (as long as it doesn't mean shipping all the good stuff to Rochester #ohhateslocals)

 

Its not even going to be cold like last year to gatekeep people who aren't dumb enough to stand out in 13º weather for 4+ hrs.

 

We know Other Half hates us because they started in February and not a pleasant month, like June or September.

Just got a new puppy that wakes me up at 2am every morning to pee. I’m gonna be that guy who shows up at 2 sets up a chair and goes home to nap until 8. Don’t @me.
