So I havent read through the last few pages as I’ve been busier in the past week working from home than I have in the past year working from my office, but I do remember the last topic was in regards to the recent sweetness of OH IPAs. I didnt pay much mind to that but I’m drinking a can of FS right now I got today and it is way too sweet. Just really tough to get down. Strange too because the SD can I had last night had a prominent bitterness (in a good way) and was quite dry (also in a good way).

And you would probably have had less of a hangover from a line of white lightning as opposed to a bottle of white sugar.

Has anyone actually ordered via DoorDash? Still lots of stale/missing listings, plus shows them as being currently closed

They didn't post anything about it, so I figure it is inactive. Judging it seems to be from an old list of beer closer to right after the anniversary madness, maybe they had originally were looking into setting it up then as a future possibility. Or they just sent them an old list to get set up now and are going to update once it is ready to go live?

sounds even better, wonder what the radius will be. I won't be in BK for some time, so it seems, but I am sure my GF would love to get some beer and not have to leave her apt!

Galaxy-heads out there should approach Space Daydream with caution if its using the same raw materials in the batch of Space DIamonds. Had my second can and boy it's an earthy/bitter mouthful. Very faint hints of fruit or dank that are more prominent in the better batches.

Its nice to know that even in these trying times we can still rely on @NewmansOwn to post OH's can releases within minutes of the announcement.

Other Half is coming to your door! In our continued efforts to prioritize health and safety, we are beginning delivery service this week.⠀
    ⠀
We are taking orders from the Upper East Side today for delivery Wednesday and will continue to add new zones as we work out the kinks in this system. Keep checking our Instagram for more info on upcoming delivery zones.⠀
    ⠀
The link to order is in our bio. It will open at noon today and we will take the first 100 orders (1 case minimum). We are taking orders from the following zip codes: 10065, 10021, 10075, 10028, 10128, 10029. Orders will be delivered Wednesday, 3/25 from 11am-6pm.⠀
    ⠀
    Some fine print:⠀
    ⠀
Minimum of 1 case per order. You can mix and match your case(s) by 4-packs, choosing from all available beers. We’ll take 100 orders a day and the store will close after we reach this limit. We’ll keep you informed via Instagram when we sell out and about the next day’s zips and beer.⠀
    ⠀
Our team will contact you via email to confirm your order and delivery date. Delivery time spans 11am-6pm on your delivery date. We’ll aim to provide a more precise time via phone before we arrive. Someone 21 years of age or older must be home to receive the order.⠀
    ⠀
In an effort to avoid physical contact with our drivers and delivery people, we ask that you be ready for the delivery when we call you. We will drop the beer with a doorman, if available. If not, we’ll wait outside until we can visually identify you. Upon ID, we’ll drop the beer outside your door, walk away and watch for you to receive. Please include any tips online instead of in cash.⠀
    ⠀
There is a $1 surcharge on all orders, for a bag of Doritos. We must deliver food with all orders. #teamcoolranch⠀
    ⠀

So financeboiz getting first dibs (the ones who didn’t flee to the Hamptons with ventilators and $20k of groceries)? #OHhateslocals

Seriously - sounds interesting. But also sounds set up for quick sell outs. I could totally be wrong

    What!?!?

Sounds like they looked at zip code data though and those were the most frequent nyc zips, that and UWS.

Sorry being dense. Frequent for what?

And I just meant if they’re doing 100 orders a day I imagine those could get tapped out quite quickly. I could be totally wrong

I will almost certainly buy when it makes the way to my zip (assuming they have beer I want), but, what does everyone think a good tip is? $20? $10?

    $120 for a case + $20 tip / 24 cans = $5.84 cents a can. Not too shabby.
