A fair point, but hard to know their ability to self-deliver across the entire city. And that also won't cover their large base of fans in LI/NJ/Westchester and further on, which are likely a large portion of the people driving up and maxing out cases via the car-no-contact method.

Also, was SD already available for purchase at the brewery recently? If so, this might be the dregs they saved for delivery giving its final breath vs. #ohhateswalkersandriders.

Given the recent quality of some of their usually stellar top beers, I think they are doing you a favor not allowing you to get your hands of this.

I’ve also noticed a difference between the pick up options and the instagram story. For example the insta story had DMD but it’s not listed on the pick up website currently

This Other Half All Together thing is a truly epic list of breweries nobody has ever heard of. Just spent ages scrolling through it and recognized Voodoo, Hoof Hearted, Deya and Naparbier (Spanish). What about all their close bros they do constant collabs with? <rolls eyes>

literally what is the point of this post besides complaining for no reason? first off as @algebeeric_topology noted, most of their "close friends" are all aboard as well as most breweries that attend Green City and/or Pastrytown. The complaint that most of them are breweries you never heard of totally misses the actual point of what they are trying to accomplish. This isn't supposed to be some "get all the freakin hypebois ready to go apeshit" type of thing. The whole purpose is for literally any brewer/brewery to see it, say yeah I am on board lets brew this and donate as much of the profit to whatever local charity or peoples are directly being affected by what is going on. As per this morning there are 448 breweries spanning 40 states and 29 countries. If you were really well versed in breweries and craft beer and maybe knew 100+ breweries by name rather well, thats only 1/4 of who have signed on... again really what was the point of that post outside to complain about something not worth complaining about? Shit maybe I need some more coffee...

you made valid points and i agree with your post; but you should also get some more coffee because why not?

as for all together... I am very happy to see a good amount of NJ breweries on there - a few i never heard of before too.

I kept thinking it would get better, and it's only gotten worse. Same thing happened with Space Daydream. No idea what's going on there.

There are A LOT of breweries that just posted it on their story that day and didn't make a post. Therefore there's no "record" of it to check.

Don't assume that these breweries aren't doing it because they haven't outright told you personally. And don't chastise a brewery on whether they want to do it or not since it would be a personal decision by the owners. You have no idea what these breweries have on the brew plan or if they even want to take a risk making a product right now that might not sell for them in their area

And now space diamonds - “fresh off the line” - is available at the brewery per insta story from a few mins ago

I’m not criticizing (they’re doing a great job plus I’m shit scared to get on the wrong side of FrankTheTank), but it’s getting a little hard to follow with three different webpages for normal retail vs curbside vs delivery, and what is/isn’t available via each “channel” (sorry for the corp speak - I’ll circle back later with a better word to keep you all in the loop)

What the fuck did you just fucking say about Other Half, you little bitch? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class at the Other Half Pastrytown Volunteer Training program, and I've been involved in numerous bottle shares, and I have over 300 confirmed tasting note confirmations. I am trained in both triple IPAs and pastry stouts and I'm the fastest shot-gunner in the entire NYC metropolitan area, regardless of ABV. You are nothing to me but just another piss water (Grimm/Suarez) drinker.

Hey everyone who has gotten OH deliveries or just any beers in general in our new Covid-19 reality, what are people's procedures for sanitizing cans?
