They announced the pastrytown brewers. Looks like a really good list.

What time will people be there until I won’t make it until 730ish bc I work late. Quiet cosmos was really good!

I wont get there until 6:30-ish so I'll probably be hanging for a bit if you get there at 7:30

No line. Have mostly everything, but out of all cashmere, which was what I came for, but I’m gonna try it in the taproom.

Edit: jk it’s not on tap :slight_frown:

overheard one of the guys telling someone who asked for recommendations that Blue Chroma is the OH Brewmaster’s favorite beer they’ve done in awhile.

Guess the Haymaker all cash drop caused the sell out. Still weird they dropped a beer less than a week old and not the stuff they have trouble moving. Most chromas for me weren’t as good as beers from Bk. Some of the double or the DDH versions were better. By all accounts recent simcoe beers have been off the charts. Last batch of Forever Simcoe was amazing and I never by Double Simcoe Daydream but I did for a NYE party and it was great as well. So maybe that carries over to blue chroma

(Fortunately?) a can of Centre Street was punctured and it had to be consumed. It's smooth and sweet with a ton of fruity hop flavor.

You could replace Centre Street with almost every OH IPA and that description would work.

Couple of times I had to pound a OH pounder on the Smith & 9th platform bc of this.

Is this the Smith & 9th speed run? You have 3 categories, >6%/8%/<10%. You have to pound the beer before the G or the F comes.

I thought each set of stairs was for single, double, then triple ipa.

Blue Chroma at $16 could be the steal of the decade or continuing proof that beers priced at $16 are destined to gather dust on pallets.

In the interest of being a bit more thorough, Centre Street is one of the smoothest galaxy beers OH has ever put out where the galaxy is still very prominent. I love their galaxy hopped beers, but there's a certain potency, particularly right out of the gate.

I get some some combination of pineapple, melon, peach, and then a smooth OH galaxy hop finish. This is a great beer.

For sure, I'm super stoked about Voodoo!

    Some notes from last year:
BA Adjunct Trail was probably my favorite
Hidden Springs was the biggest surprise
BA Monsters Park was best combination of delicious without any wait.

It looks like all tickets are still available. For anybody on the fence about Early Access, I totally recommend being there at 11. You can hit your big items in the first hour, Angry Chair, Wakefield, 3 Sons, etc, and then spend two hours walking around looking for surprises. It's also really easy to be there 11 to 2/3ish, sample a bunch of beers, aggressively pour out underwhelming ones, and not be hammered by the end.

Straight facts, that beer was insane.

I kinda hate myself for saying this, but I wish Other Half started doing more glassware again, but not necessarily tekus, and not pint glasses.

First time picking up some OH cans in a while and just a PSA Voluminous has that elusive green melon aroma/flavor. I wish OH would note before buying if any cans have that flavor because I would automatically buy for just that reason. It doesn’t seem to be a specific hop thing because different beers of theirs have had this flavor, I wonder if it’s related to using a slightly different yeast. Either way would love to know before deciding which cans to grab!

I think they've been getting that more consistently from their house yeast lately. I raved about the last batch of ddh go with the flow because of how good that note was.
