Does anyone know format for what does/doesn't get added to the delivery page and the timing?

They're heading to Queens on Thursday and I don't want to pull the trigger yet if some of these appealing options from today are going to added.

Any guidance would be appreciated. Off the wall theories considered as well.

    Thx.

I went for a dream city (based on @SeanEDPBK rec) and 2 ACE. Was tempted on the others but with Sean selfishly only having one beer at lunch on a Tuesday, and nobody else stepping up to the plate, I couldn’t pull the trigger

@crowlcrowlcrowl - I saw AME on the curbside/local delivery order list

I’m sipping on a hdhc Mylar now. My expectations may have been really high for this, and while not being the greatest beer ever (like I imagined it to be), it’s awesome. A slightly sweeter and possibly even more pungent version of Mylar but not in a bad way. The triple mylar they did was hard to finish for me (yet the Mylar daydream i thought was really nice... sorry @frozyn)

Glad this got the hdhc treatment, I’d definitely get this again.

I'm with @afroskully verbatim on the Mylar. It's solid, but for me it does tip a little sweet (certainly sweeter than I expect straight up Mylar to be), in the same way I tend to feel OH's TIPAs are. I actually thought this would be the issue with the Dream City (as I've felt the last couple lactose beers I had were too sweet). 2020 can go to hell already.

Ok that’s the Mylar FOMO dealt with

Now the last piece of the puzzle. Can someone tell me they tried HDHC ACE and a) it was just as good as the OG batch and b) it gave them a boner they couldn’t tamp down for hours? Then I’m set

Thirds on "it's pretty sweet" wagon. I wish I had gone with 1 4pk rather than two (let me know if you're ISO near Greenpoint!). Some of the thiccer Other Half beers have a sweet, nutty flavor that doesn't vibe with me. There's a ton of flavor packed into this beer though, lots of sweet, fruity notes, that melon from their house yeast, with a little bit of grass. This drinks kind of heavy though, opposite of how the best in this category of jacked ABV IPAs drink surprisingly light. I absolutely recommend trying it, but it's not the "Stock up for quarantine" beer that Citra+Strata was.

HDHC ACE is better than most recent ACE batches. The smell is amazing. It's all the fruit I want in my hypothetical "perfect citra" beer. My beef with ACE is that it's often more floral than most citra beers and I'm glad this tones down those floral notes. It also has a little bit of a dry, aspirin-like flavor on the finish. It's a good beer, definitely one to grab a couple 4packs of.

Kicking myself for not getting Roc Showers or Citra + Galaxy while I was there earlier. That's a 50 HSP (Hop Shower Points) minus!
Semi related, what's up with HDHC Roc Showers before HDHC Hop Showers!?!?

I shared HDHC Mylar, ACE, AME, Green City with a buddy while splitting sausage pie at F&F

ACE is the winner, then Green City. Mylar and AME are solid, but go with ACE if you gotta pick one.

You didn’t touch on duration of boner. But otherwise appreciate this post

I'm in team Mylar camp along with ACE.

This Mylar is crazy creamy and smooth. Right now, I'm getting a lot of Mosaic as the dominant note. The mouthfeel on this makes it like there is lactose and it's very rich. I think it's only going to get better.

ACE definitely has that effervescence that the Mylar doesn't have and makes it a better summer quencher. THough it has sort of that Citra musty dankness (I call it "wet garbage bag" notes) on that back end, which I don't enjoy as much as say a simcoe weed-like dankness.

Props to the return of day of the drop review. Was legit tormenting myself over what quantities to get of each beer. Must of redone my checkout cart 5 times. Ended up getting 2 ACE, 1 Mylar, 1 AME, 1 SCE based off of some comments here. Only had the ACE so far but it is delicious.

ACE is the undisputed core king OH beer. Not sure if anyone ever played the OG Unreal Tournament back in the day but I swear whenever I crack a can of ACE I hear that voice saying “I am the Alpha and the Omega”

Had e hdhc beers tonight mosaic, mylar , and ace and they were well made neipas. Nothing mind blowing and a shell of what original oh beers use to be. First batch of hdhc ace was of the mind blowing variety. This batch is not up to par. Still a good IPA though imo. It's funny how oh beers need to be hdhc to come close to the original batches were. None the less in grateful. Also people on untapped don't have the slightest idea on how to rate a beer cheers

“Shell” sounds a little overly dramatic. I think everyone would agree that overall there’s been a little bit of a dip this year (with that bad batch of galaxy plus a supposedly new brewer - is the latter true btw? does anyone know that for sure). But it’s not like they just wholesale fell off a cliff. And there have been some bangers in there too - C&S being top of the pile.

But either way - maybe stop being a masochist and just don’t buy them? I hear Food Emporium has a great selection of other beers

Their lead brewer is Stjepan Pavich and he's been at OH since summer 2018. He was at LIC and Finback before OH. Not sure if he's always had the title of "Lead Brewer" though.

Only thing I've noticed is that is he more visible on various social media platforms from some OH employees. Or maybe I'm actually paying attention.
