Ha, Sam just has a soft spot for the triples I guess! Isn't this one of those things we say Other Half does as good or better than anybody else? Plus, as much as I avoid them, more citra than all citra has been amazing in the past; they're a great way to go all in on a hop. Maybe on Forever More Simcoe than Forver Simcoe I'll finally get that cat pee people bemoan Simcoe for.

lACEd in Space Experimental V1 w/ Phantasm is blowing me away. Huge step up from the regular lACEd in Space, which I've found to be worse than ACE or DDH Space Diamonds individually. The Phantasm powder is undetectable in the aroma, but adds a really pleasant bittering effect on the back end of the palate. They say it's derived from grape thiols, but it doesn't come off as overly grape-y or vinous. It's also kind of tingly.

No melon to speak of, for the melon-haters. (I am not one of them.) EDIT: slight bit of melon aroma as it warms up. You can't escape it!!

and I'd rather have a bad batch of Galaxy than a good batch of Nelson

Yesssss, I passed on this beer a week ago but this is the review I needed! As per better than laced in space, so hard to compare with Galaxy batch variance!

Still loving Citra+Galaxy! You can talk about how bad it must be for them that they have 465467 beers available, but it means you can get the beers at 2-3 weeks as they hit their peak.

Hypothetical peak space diamonds > peak ACE and it isn't that close

CItra Nelson is the dream team though.

The world cries out for DDH Mosaic + Galaxy, and Other Half whispers "ⁿᵒ"

I hate to say this again. But cmon. The obvious “want” is Citra Strata....at least up here in the burbs (38).

And @algebeeric_topology you know I’ll never be able to get on your page in terms of diamonds/ace.

And on the topic of Project 191. This is a daunting feat. If you love this thread; if you look in the mirror and consider yourself a goddamn patriot & local, then you need to commit to at least two (2) posts a day. Because we need to be collectively averaging 50, which seems almost unassailable.

*looks up 'unassailable'...puffs out chest and begins typing.

Just to confirm, there is no minimum order required for curbside pick-up, correct? Considering ordering before things get locked down again. Wife probably would not be pleased with what she would consider an unnecessary trip out.
Can anyone recommend 4-6 of the current offerings? Skew towards IPAs.

Hahah. I bought free solo early in lockdown, and have watched it multiple times. Must be some sort of subconscious thing going on.

If this week hasn't made you want a stout, we don't know what will. Luckily, we're in the midst of stout season here at OH, and we've brought back two our our favorite Deep Orbits, available today, Friday, starting at noon along with Cream on the Inside. Link to order Curbside Pickup in profile. ⠀
    ⠀
Deep Orbit Centaurus Imperial Stout (16.3%) with vanilla, figs, almonds and cinnamon. $16 per bottle. ⠀
    ⠀
Deep Orbit Cosmos Redshift Imperial Stout (16%) with Peanut Butter and Marshmallow. Made with heaping amounts of peanut butter and marshmallow, fluffernutter at its finest. $16 per bottle. ⠀
    ⠀
Cream on the Inside Green on the Outside Imperial Oat Cream IPA (9.4%) This beer is brewed with 2-row and almost 50% oats with a small hit of lactose for smoothness. We then furiously hopped it with Citra, Motueka, Riwaka and Galaxy hops at 8 lbs/bbl. $20 per 4 pack.

I seem to recall enjoying the Red Shift and will be grabbing a bottle of that for sure #project191. The Double Mosaic Dream I cracked yesterday seemed slightly below average for the brew :frowning2:

Some people think colder weather changes what we crave. Personally the temperature outside doesn't stop my cravings for ramen in July or ice cream in January, and as a stout-first beer drinker I need one a week all 52 of the year.

Alright yo I need some recs from you all. Stopping by OH in a few hours and there appears to be 50 beers for sale. Anything new/recent to recommend? Obviously I’m going to grab every and all available HS (where the HS crew at?) so don’t bother insulting me.

I'm so confused. EQ released 2 OH collabs yesterday: Baby Roo Dream Filed Shoes (5.0% Pale Ale) and Roo Dream Lab Shoes (8.0% DIPA)

Both have Dream in the name but no lactose. It looks like OH will be releasing EQ collabs next week. It's safe to assume those will be 'tosed right?
