    Quick C+S report: zero melon, tangy berry fruits, dank and bitter finish. Solid 2nd batch. Buying it wasn't so easy, seems it wasn't in their system on the POS?

    On the stout front, anyone open their Snowbirds Barrel Only care to share feedback?

    I had it last night. I enjoyed it, I think it is a very solid BA stout, I think it is on par with the BCBS nice ones and Reserves, which I think are very enjoyable as well and to me among the standards for the style (and I had been sampling them this week). Seems better than some of the other local BA straight stouts I have had (I have not had some of the epic Side Project etc stouts).

    BA Gravity Gumbo Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout with Coffee, Chicory, Pecans, Pralines and Vanilla (14.5%) with the Louisiana homies @parishbrewing We looked to Louisiana for inspiration for this stout. Like taking a chicory coffee break while slamming delicious pralines only you might have poured some bourbon into your coffee when no one was looking. $22 per bottle. ⁠

    Regular Snowbirds 5 is good, but just has the faintest taste of suntan lotion artificial coconut. Mouthfeel is great and sweetness is not too much, but the aforementioned flavor holds it back from a 4.5 or higher for me. Still a good stout.

    I'm pretty sure all of us are "local" to the BK OH, not the FLX one. As a former Rochester native though, I hear ya on a garbage plate craving.
