    Bourbon Barrel Aged Bananaversary Imperial Stout (15.4%) We've been waiting all year to pull this from it's bourbon barrel slumber and now that we have we packed it with banana's, macadamia nuts, coconut, toasted coconut, and vanilla. Bourbon banana goodness! $28 per bottle, 1 bottle per person.

    $28?!? Are they kidding?

    Other Half has proven that as good as they are at making beer they are even better at making money. Part of me says I can’t blame them. As long as people line up and get whipped into a frenzy for every new combination of ingredients they add, new (made-up) hops and brewing techniques they attach to the beer’s Instagram post they are going to push the absolute limits on pricing.

    Maybe I'll be flogged for saying this but I like Chick-fil-a and wouldn't it be awesome if someone went down the line with a tablet taking orders so they could be packed for pickup? You could even hand out paper menus for the indecisive and just move on down the line...can't decide? Might not get what you want then jackass!

    EDIT: for the uninitiated Chick-fil-a has an employee working the line as described above.

    I dunno, I feel like I'm always happy when an establishment I love makes a cash grab like this. OH can do no wrong in my eyes when it comes to hitting people up for non beer items.

    $800 a glass for our 6th anniversary glass with only 3 available? Awesome in my eyes. Get it you guys!

    This would be amazing. I said this 2 weekends ago when I was in line. It was already pretty large. Wristbands were handed out, why not just open and get it moving. Sure they started a little early but it would be nice if it was even before that.

    They've done this in the past, particularly when it's clear the beers will mostly sell out before the end of the line

    They had the Bananversary on tap behind the bar last time I was in there (or maybe time before - a couple weeks ago) - not listed but with tasters being given out on the DL (I imagine more for the #famfam crowd, but I’d been chatting with one of the bartenders - the super cool lady with the short hair). Definitely appreciated it, and it was enjoyable (strong coconut without being overpowering - wild Thai taking more of a back seat), but also exactly what you’d expect and nothing to get overly frothy about
