Drinking a TDH ACE, this is what I love about OH - just a brilliant beer, nose to finish. Rich and overripe fruit, excellent bitterness, smooth mouthfeel - amazing, go drink it

Okay TDH ACE is the bee knees... wish I bought more, what are people's opinions on the TDH Citra Chromas?

I'll be at OH tomorrow and hoping to find a 12 bottle shipper for some EQ and OH bottles. I'll be checking in a suitcase for my flight on Tuesday and just need the styrofoam and cardboard box. If anyone knows where I can find one of these shippers in the Brooklyn area I would appreciate the information.

I've had luck in the city with random wine shops. I tell them I need to move some wine, THAT I'M DEFINITELY NOT SHIPPING IT, and need a box to keep my bottles safe. There is a UHaul store in the area you could check.

Yeah I agree about the wine shops. I've only ever checked wine when traveling internationally and the winery packed it. When I put beer in the suitcase I just bubble wrap and pack in clothing.

If you choose to try a wine shop Fat Cat Wines is a couple blocks from OH and they are often friendly - but I've never done this myself as moving things from Brooklyn is not something I've needed to do.

Edit: but also, if OH is doing shipping it might be worth asking if they can set you up with packaging?

I'm DEFINITELY NOT SHIPPING. I'm flying back with my bottles and checking in a suitcase. I have done this before both with a shipper and just wrapping with bubble wrap in my suitcase. I'll check U haul and Fat Wine Shop but at this point I may just have to open and share my bottles at or somewhere near OH.

Stopped in at the OG taproom yesterday. Did the Citra week taster set that included TDH ACE and TDH More Citra. TDH ACE was really good, I think I liked TDH More Citra a tad more, which usually isn't the case. I think this would be my ranking
    1) TDH More Citra Than All Citra
    2) TDH ACE (1A really)
    3) Triple Citra Chroma Daydream w/ Trillum Hops (not overly tosed from what I got)
    4) HDHC Small Citra w/ Perrault Farms
    5) DDH Citra Daydream w/ Coleman Hops (reminded me of that first time I had Citra Daydream)
    6) DDH Crushed Gems (was good but I felt the weakest of the bunch)

They had More Citra left so I got one of those, full court press, and the Roc Showers with Wakatu, anyone try that one yet?

Does anyone know which location brewed the current ACE (and when) on the curbside site? I don't recall seeing anything about OG ACE during Citra week but I think it would be a fun side by side with TDH ACE.

If it's the same that was sold at the "pop up" can sale in Nyack (along with pre-ordered cans) I believe Centre St. but was dated 3/7 (+/- a day). Had one last night though and for two months old tasted pretty good!

Stopped by DP for some cans. Specifically went for the TDH citra chroma. They were sold out of Yakima, but had the Haas. I was more the half with it. An OH mid-abv citra beer to a T. Nothing too crazy but very enjoyable.

Also got the new batch space diamonds. Smell and tastes are a little odd to me. Not quite how i remember it. My last Untappd check in for it was May 2019 so it’s been awhile. Maybe it’s too green. Per untappd I liked this beer a lot more with a month on it. I will sit on the rest. Has galaxy gone to shit or what?

I filled out the sheet, although my answers are somewhat tentative since I'm planning to visit family in Scotland pretty much as soon as they lift the quarantine mandates and that may be June.
