This is how I felt about Space Ghost when I tried it on tap Sat. I grabbed a 4 pack still b/c a friend asked for a can if I could. Will see how those turn out as well.

I haven't been here in forever, but looking forward to try to swing by and grab some cans this weekend? Question for you folks and sorry if it has been answered here and I'm too lazy.

There are about a million can options on the website for curbside pickup right now, any way to tell what is not like a month+ old? Has OH had that "problem" recently?

Also looks like this is going to be a really good release week. Can I place an order Friday morning online for all the new stuff and not have to wait on line in hopes of getting an allotment? I haven't gone since pre-COVID times.

    Thanks all.

a few times I've gone and been overwhelmed by the long list of availability. i've simply asked the person behind the counter if they know when particular offering was brewed and they'll go search it out for you, but I'd not overdo it as they have to physically walk to the back an look at the can-stamp. it would be nice if they had that info at the POS station but not yet.

when things go online, it's pretty easy to simply go pick them up and not wait on any massive lines. Welcome Back!

Awesome, thank you! Yeah there are over 50 can options available right now and as much as I would love to get most of them I simply don't have the fridge space.

I'll probably just stick to the new releases from this week's IG post.

In terms of ordering Friday am and picking up, you can do this for sure. If you are driving over you can have them bring it out to your car still (believe they still do that). If you go on foot, there could be a line of people but it shouldn't be like a crazy release in the past, especially if you go later in the day after the surge of people who want to grab it are gone

Thoughts on going to Pastrytown solo? Anyone planning on it? Has anyone done it in the past? None of my friends are keen on drinking stouts and fruited sours at 11 am.

When I tried curbside pickup on Saturday, they told me to go inside. I ended up just parking my car and spending 10 minutes flagging down a beertender because no one was manning the curbside counter.

There will be cans 1-2 months old on the list but unfortunately no easy way to tell. I assume listing canning dates on the sale sheet would deter people from buying old stock and OH would have an even harder time moving them.

You can always check Instagram to get a better sense of the newer releases. Not everything on their curbside site is there but OH usually does at least one post on Monday or Tuesday outlining each the weekly new can drops.

Where it can get confusing is when the BK taproom gets cans from the other locations - FLX, DC, etc. Those require research on those respective IG pages.

Then of course they also have some silent drops that aren’t posted anywhere and are sometimes just sold from the taproom (not even listed on the website)…

All in all, I can understand the confusion. I like what Fox Farm does nowadays…they list the canning date in each beers description on their order page. Maybe OH can learn a thing or two…or maybe they want everyone guessing in order to move the old cans.

I have gone to Green City myself, I had a good time. Ran into a few folks from here during the event and also made friends with someone on one of the lines and we kind of hit some tables together.

Lots of normies just stroll up and grab a four pack to take home. Gotta remember we are the weird ones looking at the IG page and BA to figure out what we should double up on.

Anyone know what time the new releases will go live on the website tomorrow for curbside? IG post didn't say.

When’s the last time a release sold out this quickly? Also, I wonder why allocations were so low.
