Tab color, logo shape, and it should also say in small print on the side

Any insight on where and when the ACE, DMD, and Mylar for sale on Centre Street we’re brewed (and worth picking up if MO+Ga isn’t available)?

I believe all three are BK staple beers. Have not heard of any of those brewed in DC…

Bought Mo+Ga when it was released and while it was good, it’s gotten much better with some time - definitely peaking now! Looks to still be available.

Also citra + galaxy released this week which should be bklyn brewed?? But I’ve been burned before. I would look for the circle logo on the can to be sure!

That was my thought (fear) as well.

I can’t imagine why since OH and JW are best buds and this is their classic stout. Plus, the present/future tense of Snowbirds 5 Marcona would indicate more.

But then again, if you don’t make the base beer, you can’t age it.

I can say that one wegmans got ACE from bk same canning date as on Instagram. It's a solid batch. No guarantees I guess though. I hate doing this myself, but a call not too long after opening might be best? I'm sure it'll annoy them, but better than ordering and finding out after, or bothering them while a line is behind you. Just leave a decent tip I guess?
But to let you know ACE has been made in DC. So has DMD. So honestly the only way to be sure is if it's a new beer/collab ideally NOT released same day or prior in FLX or DC (though I'm ok with FLX) or it is a classic and the other feeds don't have the same release listed anytime recently (say last 2 weeks or so is probably safe?). So a pain either way.

CG might be BK (this CG in NJ was brewed a week ago) but DC feed didn't seem to mention it around that time, so maybe DC is at this point handling most of the out of state distro? Hey maybe OH doesn't hate locals?

Thanks for the help! I’ve had what I thought were classic Brooklyn OH (Space Diamonds, ACE, DMD, Mylar, Florets, etc.) that had the circle OH logo, but stamped “DC” with a date on the bottom and were inconsistent in taste . . .

Did they put that in their story? I haven't seen a post and it's not on the web shop page.

I missed it and event set a reminder on my phone. Oh well.

Also, the two BK locations had different things sell out. Surprised Centre street had the 2-year aged, but not the Snowbirds 5 at 10:30

I have had cans from DC of both ACE and Mylar, both pretty good.

Is this batch 2? Seems like it's only been small strata everything since.

Walked in last night for the first time in a while and asked if they had Cheddar-Fu and Space Lab cans left. Both were missing from the online site, but they managed to sell me one of each. I was told it was the "last" Space Lab but I think someone earlier got the "last" Cheddar-Fu. Glad I went, felt pretty lucky. Cheddar-Fu was spectacular.

How is the 3-year aged tasting? Thinking of hitting the Centre Street taproom in a little bit but also see on Google Maps that it is currently "as busy as it gets" :astonished:
