At three bottles per person, I feel like they brewed quite a large batch of it?

S’mores had the same limits and sold out in a couple days. It also wasn’t a 5-way collab. You know how collabs go go go.

Yeah so given that a 5-way collab has the same limits as three non-collabs (S'mores + two Orbit varients), I figure it's simply a bigger batch. I think Snowbird 2 was only 1 bottle pp. I still imagine this will easily sell out before end of Thursday.

Wasn't original snowbirds 4 to 6 pp and lasted just over a day?

It was 6pp and yeah i think it made it to the morning although they did release it at 5 not noon. Snowbirds 2 made it to the morning too I think but that also was 5.

Other Half has been weird about tapping their stouts. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t...

“making it one of the most expensive to produce beers we have ever made!” is a funny thing to advertise. Most would make a more subjective, qualitative claim.

Aren't most bars typically cool with BYOB?

I'm actually pleasantly surprised that the Instagram thread isn't filled with people kvetching that the collab is being released on a Thursday.

The event on 8/18 lists a few beers that will probably be released next week: Mylar Bags, Cream of Broccoli, Small Nelson Everything, and Party Booster

If there is any line on a weekday in August when it's going to be 100 with humidity- for an imperial stout nonetheless- those animals can have it all.

Looks like kegs of Amarillo IPA are circulating, just popped up on Untappd for both Hops Hill and Arts and Crafts. Been a while since that's been brewed.

I've been wondering where the Mylar has been.

I also saw a roll of Cream of Broccoli stickers sitting prominently on a shelf behind the crew grabbing cans for the Small Citra release, so you're most likely onto something.

How much saffron do we think is actually in it? I'd love to see if we can taste it
