Come on @mumbles44.. only true way to drink hop showers is out of a can. And an OG printed can that you’ve saved to pour those lame stickered cans into, of course.

 

With the new 128oz growler too obviously.

 

Frame of Mind is solid. I think I like this better than Laid Back.

 

Picked up a 4 of the SD. Happy to see they’re back to printing more than just the date on the bottom. Even happier to see that there’s a Dead fan employee here with the Dark Star lyric quote.

 

Hop showers is probably number two all time for me (I know, I should be banished from this thread). Favorite is still OG All Green Everything

 

Same here! Wasn't thinking i'd be able to take the day off but got lucky.. any idea what time you'll be getting there? I'm curious as to whether there will be a line similar to the notable Saturday releases..

 

Had a taster and thought it was nice, but the comparisons to Hudson Valley sour IPAs are stupid. I think its a little thin but the ABV is hidden well. Could use some oats or something.

I'm sure there will be a decent line given all the mules and people stocking up for the long weekend. I'm probably gonna pop in once they update that the line is gone.

When did OH start selling Woodford? Noticed it on the board next to all that kombucha.

 

Andrew posted on his account that they were over at Woodford and chose some barrels with them for their own OH blend. I think the bottles say Other Half on them too if I recall.

 

Really didn’t like Rice Proxy Treats, all I could taste was booze and chocolate syrup. Saves me $18 tomorrow I guess.

 

What do we expect the release to be like tomorrow? Hoping to get there by 4pm-ish

 

My guess is:

Mobbed 11:30-1
Minimal to no line 1-4
Steady stream of customers 4-8

Don’t think the bottles will sell out tomorrow, but who knows these days. Cans should last a while as well.

 

The last few bottles of stouts have lasted for at least a week, so I'd be surprised if this sells out by EoD.

 

Especially with potentially 10(!) can choices available to start the day...

 

Echoing a lot of the same thoughts on Rice Proxy Treats: tried it yesterday and found it very underwhelming. Really boozy/sickly sweet in a way where the adjuncts didn't really stand out. More of a chocolate-dominated flavor with some additional generic sweetness.

It's a bummer, because I cracked open the Evil Twin stout and Snowbirds 2 this week and found them incredibly drinkable for their ABV. Rice Proxy Treats makes that 16% very apparent.

 

Any insight whether space diamonds makes it past the initial line tomorrow?

 

Pondering this as well.

 

Out of the most recent space diamonds batches, this ones my least fav.

Nelson+Mosaic on the other hand amazing

 

Think Space just needs a lil time. It will get amazing I’m sure. Nelson + Mosaic is really good.

 

I agree, though it does tend to mellow a bit.

I also thought DDH Go With The Flow wasn't as good as I remembered.

Echo that Nelson+Mosaic is tasting awesome. Wish I grabbed two.
