Growlers

 

Yea can releases are every other Saturday. Don't think they do much if any distributing to local shops but I could be wrong?

 

If you don't mind paying above market value there is a selected few who also sell them!

 

Bottle shops? I can't find a distribution list on the OH site.

 

They don't distribute most of the time. Sometimes bottle shops illegally resell.

 

Thanks for the info. I will have to do some recon when I come up. At least I will get to try some stuff at their tap room. Never traveled with growlers but may give it a try this time.

 

Yea, that's probably the best bet. Or try to set up an in-person trade with someone in the city who still has cans left next week - I'm sure there will be plenty.

 

Is it illegal shouldn't OH just stop give them kegs and cans...

 

Thats the issue... they dont give them cans. They go to a release, buy them and put them for sale at their stores without the permission of Other Half

 

And usually at double the original cost.

 

They counter pressure fill their growlers, so they should travel well for you.

 

Any word if they will be open on the 26th? I am going to be in town that day and hoping to score a few beers at the brewery and a growler to go. Unless there will be cans available......? I know, I know doubtful.

 

I think they will be open on the 26th. But I doubt they will have cans.

 

Thank you. I just checked the website and it said they were open on Saturday the 26th. Hoping they have some cans even though it is a reach to say the least.

 

They also have 32 oz growlers, might be a little easier to pack than the 64 oz'ers are

Chesterfield Dreams is great. Rob made sure I tried that on Wednesday. 3.5%!
