If it's the same guy I saw (tall black guy) he said he was 14th on line and got here at 6:45am

 

So two people arrived at 815, and one is 110 and one is 195? Quite the rush of people at 815! These threads always delver on release days

 

Do these linesitters actually go in and buy the beer? Or do they hold the spot for the person paying them and then switch spots? I imagine if it is the latter, one of these days if not already someone is going to have bodily harm inflicted on them cutting into a line a somewhere.

 

I think it's the latter. Their card says #skiptheline and "Professional Line Sitter"

No what I'm getting at is the fact that they make a new IPA almost every 2 weeks. I love IPAs but I wouldnt never line up early for one. Its different when its a special once a year release like most BA stouts. Hell, I wouldnt even wait in line for a BA stout. I love beer but again its just beer.

 

I got here at 8:15, and while I have no estimate on how many people are here, I will say that within 5 minutes of arriving, about 25 or 30 more people showed up.

Anyway, if you aren't already here, don't come. Stay home and enjoy your life.

Goes without saying there's never been anything like this here at OH. Line is ridiculous. Tons of out of state plates around making me believe a couple things. First, people traveled far for this, and second there are going to be a lot of parking tickets issued today! Hope the neighborhood folks don't start picketing this place haha.

I wonder when the first few people got here.

 

In line, pretty sure I'll get shut out if everyone gets their limit. Unfortunate.

 

With the amount of people I've seen cut the line already, if you're towards the back there's a good chance you'll get shut out. Here's hoping they drop the limits before opening.

 

They should hand out tickets for people's allotments at this point and let those who will get shut out go home. Crazy that 8:30 might have been too late.

 

Yeah I'm not going to do this again. The amount of people cutting and smoking/drinking is insane

 

If everyone gets their limit, how many people can be served?

 

At minimum 250-300 on line. Girl at front said she got here around 6:30 am

 

8:50 - line is more than halfway around the block

 

Yea tickets would be nice right now. Wouldn't waste people's time AND would prevent line cutters. (I feel kind of sick even having to say that last part, like this is middle school). Probably should have sat this one out

 

Other Half just tweeted that if youre not in line, you're not getting it.

 

Not sure why anyone would think they could arrive at open for this and be okay with cans
