Certainly this isn't because of anything you said and is me projecting some frustration, but that video makes me feel like Borat is telling me, "you will never get this, you will never get this, la la la la la"

Matt graciously came out and walked through the line to update us on the situation. I appreciate that, and more than a few people asked to drop the limits. Really glad to see OH trying to make the best of this.

 

This is understated. At any of the bigger releases, they've always been awesome about coming out to talk to people and give them realistic estimates.

 

So is it worth it to show up in 10 minutes? Is the line moving at all?

I would imagine there's some amount of outrage towards the front being those first few people watching the allocation shrink from 3 4pks to 2!

 

What the eff is wrong with people?? Is it really necessary to go to a brewery to buy beer and drink illegally at 8am in the morning? These a-holes are going to ruin it for everyone else who doesn't act like an asshole. Totally disrespectful to OH also as a shit show is going to get the attention of police, people in the neighborhood and potentially stop releases in the future.

Beer geeks are awesome, but beer geeks really suck also.

 

A HUGE LOL at those posting at OH that they will never be back and will never support them again because 1) they lowered the limit and 2) they saw people cut in line and OH didn't have someone policing that.

 

Well, as a side note, I'm happy they brought back the Tired Hands glasses (Oat Junkie)

 

The only thing OH is to blame for is making awesome beer and running a great brewery. The blame for the ensuing chaos is all on selfish and disrespectful assholes and the general hysteria around beer "releases" these days.

 

People were booing in the garage when they announced the 2 4pack limit. Real classy.

 

Damnit, I wanted to stay in line for glasses! maybe I will check later if any are still available.

 

Yeah, would really suck for them to get one less 4 pack so someone behind them doesn't get shut out.

 

Well they already can't get the 4 they planned on, what's even the point???

I will continue to support OH but I think I'm done with the morning releases until they figure out a better system. Very ugly & frustrating morning and the line isn't even moving (probably due to line cutting?). Barely have moved in the past half hour.

 

Mighty happy I skipped this one. This is everything that is wrong with craft beer.

 

The hype is real.

 

Was 15 people away from 3 limit, but Got my 2 four packs of each. I will say, the worst thing you can do is lower limits DURING the release. I'm not holding it against them, I still plan on supporting them, but anytime you are told one thing and it changes when you are there it is disappointing. In addition at minimum 30-40 people jumped in line in front of me with their friends, so doubly disappointing when taken into account.

Oh and forget the drinking, the people openly taking bong hits and passing joints, not cool.
