I wouldn't doubt that Hop Showers lasts until next week. Canned a lot of it.

 

I'm glad to hear there is a lot of it, but this is the first time it isn't getting the full case treatment as well!

As much as people seem to be rejoicing this is a return to "normalcy," I'd argue only somewhat. Usually single hops are case limit as has hop showers usually been. The line at 930 was to the corner which is considerably longer than this release would have been 2 months ago. I guess it's also tourist season and we should expect more out of towners to be around on weekends.

 

Tap room is pretty crowded but the garage is empty. I was the only one getting cans.

 

Was told they're on their last keg of SG so there may not be many growler fills left.

 

A lot of it I'm sure is due to the cans being offered today. I personally love Hop Showers, but I don't think it has the same draw as AGE or Green Diamonds, and Simcoe is somewhere in the middle of the single hop spectrum. If it's Mosaic and AGE I think that would be a little busier, but I honestly can't see another "regular" can release ever approaching the Street Green release.

Simcoe is drinking quite nice. Might not be their best single hop release, but it's certainly no slouch either. No regrets on buying the max.

 

Missed this one today. Did anyone ask what the next cans will be?

 

According to Twitter they are low on cases of Simcoe as of noon but I personally saw at least 200 cases or more just before noon. Maybe they are sending some out to accounts like the Doug?

 

Simcoe is gone. Was just there.

 

Unable to make it until tomorrow. Bummer about Simcoe, but I'm not surprised. Hopefully Showers cans last. Anyone know if Greenbacks kicked yet? Need more of that.

 

All Green Everything and a session beer, maybe Microgreen?

 

I heard it's called Babygreen, session Green Diamonds.

 

Pretty much anything they put out next to AGE could relatively count as sessionable!

Looks like Hop Showers and Simcoe cans are showing up at retail, $25 . . .

 

Name the place, probably being sold illegally.

 

I saw the place post it to Beer Menus so I swung by to check it out. Asked the guy at the counter and he said they sell it to him, I said yea you waited in line with everyone else and are reselling it, he mumbled something like no we don't wait in line, they sell it to us.

They have Doug and another OH beer for growler fills, maybe they distributed a few? Don't want to start a sh storm without the details.

 

I'm not a big fan of session ipa's but Small Green Everything deserves to be canned. That stuff is awesome

 

I typically don't like sessions but this stuff is really good.
