Kind of surprised about the responses for El Dorado in here - not only do I think it's extremely fruity, I think it's extremely delicious.

Do we have a confirmed release date for OH/trillium? I know I heard Thursday, I'm hoping that's the case

 

Not yet. We'll probably find out about this time next week.

 

I sure as hell hope it's on Saturday.

 

I'd be shocked if they can Superfun! again... that beer was as close to a shelf turd as OH has ever produced. I really liked it, but it certainly was pricey for what it was.

 

they still have it at that overpriced beer table in grand central. honestly though, i'm fine dropping $6~ for a can. i usually prefer "conventional" IPAs to black IPAs, but OH knows what's up with that Summit, Simcoe, Columbus combo. far from regret my purchase, i went back the next day and bought 2 more.

 

Living 3 blocks away I couldn't agree more with the weekday release

 

I'm pretty sure @Kanger mentioned somewhere in this thread that canning day was scheduled for Friday Nov 6th, if that's the case, it would have to be Saturday the 7th. Can you confirm?

 

that stinks, it would be so much better if they would throw locals a bone and do a big release on a Thursday evening again.

Hopefully they'll at least have a real low minimum on the collab, like 2 four packs or something.

I'm probably going to miss out on this one, as my wife is gonna be out of town and I'm not gonna drag my 2 year old to stand in line with me all morning. Unless they have a super low limit, doubtful it'll last till the early afternoon when lines usually die down.

Yea, I'm really hoping that they set a low limit. I'd obviously love to get some of this, but the idea of standing in line for hours just doesn't really appeal to me for anything.

 

A limited locals release on Thursday would be awesome. They could also release on Saturday so the masses who will undoubtedly come from all across the Eastern seaboard can get their share too.

 

Looking forward to seeing pictures of the line that Saturday morning...

 

To anyone hoping it lasts till the afternoon when the line dies down usually, this one is gonna be insane. I'm projecting a crazy line starting early in the AM and people in line being disappointed when they're told that it's all gone. Sucks to suck, hopefully people will be willing to trade some.

 

Yea, I was gonna ask at some point whether or not you are employed by Other Half. You give out helpful info like Grimm does for his Grimm thread. I assumed you were a bar tender or something.

 

I'll be there if it's that Saturday, missed the last few releases due to work, so it's nice to be able to make one, especially the Colab. Visited trillium this summer, good stuff going on at both of these breweries. I would guess 4 four packs of the Colab and 4 four packs of GD per person

 

I imagine people will be much angrier this time around seeing the same guys walk out with ten cases.

 

I dont mind people getting their limits and bringing their significant other if they are out of town and traveling very far, but i absolutely hate the smug looks on their faces as they walk past the line outside.
