Instagram post says they will have kegs of Cantillon while supplies last on this Friday.

As an interesting side note, Queue Beer, which is right around the corner from Centre. St. installed a side pour LUKR tap and has Canal Champagne on. For those that don’t know, their Canal Champagne is Miller High Life. The side pour really adds a lot to the High Life experience. I recommend giving it a try.

Best goddamned Miller High life I've ever had.
Also, apropos this forum, seems like they've got a bunch of Freaky Friday cans and since Shane is super cool that's three reasons to visit so everyone do it.

Side Project is releasing a BA stout and IPA collab with Other Half. I wonder if OH will release anything on their end.

Anyone drink anything good lately? I’m still making my way through the anniversary IPAs so I haven’t had a chance to get anything released recently.

Did they change the recipe for Florets recently? I thought it was just like the single version of Broccoli which is Mosaic, Blanc, Simcoe, Cascade but with extra Mosaic. I picked up some cans yesterday and it says Nelson, Strata, Simcoe, and Mosaic now.

Here’s the description on untappd. Odd if they changed it.

A more crushable version of Broccoli with Blanc, Simcoe, Cascade and 3xs the Mosaic.

Gonna go out on a limb and say that Pigeon Soup, Hand Truck Heroes and Solo Nectaron are as good, if not better, than any of the Anni offerings, as is yearly tradition

Interesting they’re changing recipes and not adding names. I’m curious the reasoning, but noticed that recent forever ever did not list Azacca as a hop, so maybe it is a trend?

I just picked up Solo Exhibition: Nectaron, Hand Truck Heroes, and 4 EZ Payments. Looking forward to trying them!

looks like “original” broccoli’s recipe changed as well. No longer has hallertau blanc and has both mosaic and simcoe cryo. Anyone know why they’re changing recipes for a given beer name?

Stopped in to OH Philly to enjoy the beautiful weather on Saturday. Had a Parquet Courts and a Thank You For Juicing while doing so -- both delicious (even if OH's beers in particular, I feel, have a tendency to blend together into undistinguishable drinks of the same ilk when you're not actively thinking about it / have the can with you).

Also interesting that OH Philly, I feel, has become one of the area's premiere "outdoor, dog-and-family-friendly" drinking areas given the huge space it occupies at a convenient location. I regularly see it recommended by locals for exactly that purpose, and I'm lucky to live right down the street. It was packed on Saturday. Service was a little (understandably) overwhelmed and slow, but the space is perfect for "first nice day of the year on a weekend" vibes.

Anyway, just very happy to have it there in place of Goose Island.

I've only made it to the Philly location once, but I really liked the set up and the outdoor space. It started raining when we were there so had to go back inside, but I have a friend who moved down that way and I will likely be visiting more once the weather warms up and I am looking forward to it!

OH Philly is great. Great staff, obviously great taplists, and the food menu has gone from barely edible when they opened to something pretty damn solid. Well worth the 35 minute drive from the suburbs for me.

I will say though, I wish they'd can more. Seems a lot of stuff they brew there is draft only.

They've done this many times on various beers. If I had to guess, I'd assume it has to do with what hops they are buying and what people want to drink.

100% agree with you on double mosaic daydream. It does not have same punch as the centre street batch. It has to be the water in DC vs New York. NY water is superior for baking and brewing, amongst other culinary arts.

BTW I bought 2 4 packs of the Mosaic dream and checked can at home to find out it was brewed in DC. It had the same finish as Special Combo collab with Veil for 10th Anni

Tried both the Side Project collabs on tap Sat when I stopped in Centre. The IPA is really good, I wasn't going to get cans of it as I had other things in mind and been trying to stick to lower ABV singles, but was too good to pass IMO.

The stout was good, but something about it just didn't hit home with me. I'd get another taster for sure but wasn't worth a purchase of the bottle. My wife it liked it a tad more than me, but I was getting some taste that I didn't like for some reason. I will say it was not super super sweet, which was nice

I assume these are the beers you’re referring to:

    Vintage 2014 Imperial IPA (8.0%)
We brewed this Imperial IPA with a beautiful mix of hops like Citra, Belma, Motueka and Riwaka giving a mix of candied and tropical citrus with some lychee and strawberry.

    Decennial BA Imperial Stout (14.1%)
We added Cloud Cover Honduras Natalie Piñeda coffee, hazelnuts, caramelized hazelnut paste and vanilla.
