Well that would be amazing because both are awesome fresh. I would think that the fruitiness of both will die down as time goes and they would become more generic. I don't want to hold on to either too long, I did that wth City Slickers and it completely changed for the worse.

The line shares are absolutely fun, but this is as true as a statement can get.

there is someone in one of the facebook groups that says he loves waiting in line because he gets to speak with likeminded people etc etc, and i think it's absolutely insane. but some people do. i can't conceivably imagine how standing in one place and slowly inching forward over 4 hours is fun, but to some people it actually is...to each their own though!

    Food for thought:

I visited the new Alchemist brewery this weekend and while there is the perk of getting a sample of beer right before you purchase your beer the actual check out process was much less efficient compared to how the Other Half can releases have been operating the last couple of months.

It made me appreciate all of the improvements they have made over the last year.

You used to be able to do that when the OH can line snaked through the tap room. That perk aside, the whole can-buying experience has vastly improved since they moved the line right into the garage.

I agree 100%, going straight into the garage was one of the many things done to improve the experience.

Im just being nit picky here but it would be nice if during can sales they kept people drinking to the tap room. The garage is pretty packed with people as is with can sales and food. The table they have for people to load cans into bags has become a make shift bar. I get it though, the tap room is small so people do spill over. Other than that the experience is so much better, the cash only register is fantastic.

The pattern has been every-other weekend so hopefully the next release will be the 27th (I say hopefully because I will be in NY that week and plan to stay for the release).

I'm going to venture a guess that you aren't married with kids. This weekend was the first time I ever waited in line for beer, and I used to laughed at the idea. A college buddy I haven't hung out with in years was heading over, and it was one of the only weekends all year I didn't have crap for the kids in the morning. It was a fun way to catch up with an old friend, and be home by noon to take care of the family obligations. Despite the insanely oppressive heat, I had a good time.

As someone who grew up waiting in line for video game systems and concert tickets, this is just the adult version of it. I waited in line overnight for a damn Wii as a teenager, 2 hours on a weekend morning chatting about something I enjoy, is nothing.

Substitute Focal Banger for Finback, Trillium for Tree House/NEBCO, and leaving the kids at home and we had the same weekend.

Had a Greenprint and a AGE last night. AGE was out of this world (my first taste). Greenprint was hazy, citrusy goodness. Lighter than the ABV would lead you to believe.

Can't wait to get up there next week.
