Court Street Grocers (LaGuardia Pl Location, not Carroll Gardner location, not sure about the 3rd) always has cans as well. Had ! there when I missed the release

They all get them in, albeit at a markup ($7 I believe)

Does the one in Brooklyn even sell beer?

The key to your story is it was the first time you ever waited for beer. Do it 5, 10, 20, etc. more times and you'll likely not find it as fun.

    This looks pretty cool:

Anything new for fills in the taproom besides the collabs? Was thinking of swinging by tonight after work.

No new brews since the weekend, I don't think, but I do love the new prices. Picked up and am currently drinking an AGE growler for way less than $20!

I had Simcoe/Wai-iti on tap the other night and wow I loved it. One of my more recent favorites that Othe Half has put out.

Strange how? I didn't love the last batch of cans. Way too malty.

I hope they can this one sometime down the line.

Totally agree. The new prices will definitely make me more likely to swing by for fills (even though my fridge is packed to the gills w/ cans.)

So wait, they just decided to make their beer cheaper? This is good news

    Their to-go beer, yes.

New growler prices and logical price tiers will incentivize locals to fill growlers during the week and avoid the lines. I can dig. Cheers to Other Half for acknowledging the inconsistencies in growler pricing and making the change. Now if we can just separate the taproom bar and the growler station...

So I'm going to Other Half on Friday, September 2nd. I realize it's a week after the 27th release.

Chances of anything lasting that week are nil, correct? Can anyone point me in the direction of somewhere that sells their cans even if it's at a markup?

Court Street Grocers in Greenwich Village is the only place I know that sells them to go. You can also have them at Beer Street and they seem to be popping up at a couple other bars as well (in-house only though pretty sure).

I would get a growler frankly, and if you're worried about transporting glass (flying?) then you could seek a crowler at either Whole Foods Williamsburg or Rattle N Hum West (both of which often, but not always, have some OH on tap, and sell to-go in crowler format).

Cosign on this. I'm gonna be up next week from Tues - Sat. Have my opportunity to get the Cans on Saturday but I'm debating waiting in line. May just show up at noon and get whatevers left and a couple growler fills. We'll see.
