Space Diamonds sounds awesome. Love what OH does w/ Galaxy hops. Also very excited to see the Single Hop cans back in rotation.

I'd be "driving". So I'm not worried about the glass at all.

I could just as easily and willingly would do crowlers as well. I'd do growlers for myself, but I have a good friend in California, so I'd love to ship her a thing or two. Thanks for this info, it's super helpful, since I'm sure I won't have anything from the previous release.

Everybody there by 8 (and even upwards of 11) last weekend received the full allotment. You'll have no problems with parking by going under the expressway into Red Hook and finding something on the street.

Drinking All Citra Everything right now and it's a great beer. Nice and danky, herbal lemon, really easy to drink. Beautiful color, too. My first OH in a minute, missed their stuff.

Looking back on last Saturday's release (which included 2 collabs), here is the timeline that I pulled off the thread:

6am: line already at the first corner
7am: line rounding the second corner
8:15: line about halfway down Garnet
They opened early around 9:30 because of the extreme heat.
10:45 the line was about 3/4 way down Smith.
11:23: "line not that long but moving slow" (I read somewhere that the packing table turned into a "set my beer down and drink" table...wonder if that started to slow things down)
All cans still available at Noon
Veil collab ran out around 12:15
12:48: No line, everything but Veil collab

I am trying to find that happy medium of not waiting for 3-4 hrs but also getting my full allotment. Any experienced guys out there know any tricks?

Well, they do have a special line for first time out of town folks. Show up at 9:30am (just as the garage opens), go to the very front of the line and let the guys who have been there since 4:30am that you're from out of town and don't want to wait 3-4 hours but still get a full allotment. They'll hook you up right.

The honest answer is no one knows. It really depends on if the hype is still high for All Citra and what type of crowd Space Diamonds will bring. Simcoe and Boogie Board Stuntz you should have no issue picking up in the afternoon.

If I had to guess I would say All Citra and Space Diamonds are gone pretty early. All Citra tends to bring out a very big crowd. The last batch although small was gone by 8 I believe (someone correct me if im wrong), as in all wrist bands for it were handed out.

No, the honest answer is get there early, wait 3-4 hours and get a full allotment. There are no tricks, no shortcuts, no "sweetspots."

If you really want the beer, put in the effort to get it.

If that's what you want to do, its cool. But there have been numerous releases this summer where you could show up at 1/2 oclock and walk away with full allotments of everything without waiting in any line.

Going by my experience last release, I showed up a little after 11 and got all 4 beers at 12:00. One was almost gone at that point and I and others had been told it would be gone by OH walking the line. I would say if you want to not wait really long and don't mind rolling the dice get there 10:30 - 11.

Second 4 can release in a row. Have they built out next door for more production or something? Feels like they've had a lot more beer recently. @Kanger any input there?

Double canning runs during release weeks. No brewing next door for a while.
