They'll likely update instagram just before open today but I would be really surprised if they sold out of either beer.

I left around 9pm last night and they had plenty left. I believe it was Cam that mentioned to me that they had 120 cases of AGE overall.

These mid-week releases are great. I work in FiDi so it's not too hard getting to Other Half from my office. No line to get cans (and yes, I bought a hat, sue me).

Would be awesome if AGE made it to Saturday.

Saw this label on Instagram, is this a new collaboration?

No line (for beers or cans) and taproom is not crowded. I think we have finally found OH nirvana.

It's exactly what I expected. Bright, refreshing, nice hop aroma

How's this batch of AGE tasting? I might swing by tomorrow after work and scoop up some cans if they're still available

I haven't tried it yet but I picked up a couple 4 packs about an hour ago and it looked like there were several cases left. Good luck!

I'm looking forward to trying it later.

Drinking an AGE...and it doesn't taste like an OH beer at all. It's very malty, and has only subtle notes of fruity flavors, and barely has any aroma. Probably oxidized...

Have you had previous batches All Green Everything? It's one of the first beers they ever released and it's quite different from the hazy DDH NE ipas they've been releasing over the past year or so. Much more west coast influence (piney, resinous, bitter). There's a chance it may just be an off can though, it happens.

Old school OH, not NE style.

    Lupulin Threshold Shift:

"A concept created by Vinnie Cilurzo of Russian River Brewing Company that attempts to explain a person's ever-growing craving for hops. It is defined as: 1. When a once extraordinarily hoppy beer now seems pedestrian. 2. The phenomenon a person has when craving more bitterness in beer. 3. The long-term exposure to extremely hoppy beers; if excessive or prolonged, a habitual dependence on hops will occur. 4. When a Double IPA just isn't enough [anymore]. "

It might be oxidized, or just let that beer sit for 2.5-3 weeks. That's when I started to enjoy AGE, and I don't even care for triples.

I'm going to go on record here and state that there is 0.00% chance that a can of AGE which was canned on either Tuesday/Wednesday is oxidized already. It takes several weeks of oxygen slowly leaking into a beer for oxidation to occur.

I had an AGE for the first time in a long time and it honestly tasted juicier than I remembered. I do like the more pronounced bitterness as a change of pace.

Maybe not quite "pedestrian", but pretty much sums up my current view of Pliny.

I had Pliny last night on tap in Los Angeles, as much as my tastes have shifted to NE style, the PTE I had was fantastic. Tap for some reason always tastes better to me than bottle.
