I don't get how some tasters are $4 when the 12oz is $6. Lol.

Ok, anybody know why some beers have a yellow star and the rest don't?

Maybe annotates what's available for growler fills?

I'm surprised but I like it too. But I definitely won't get one if doesn't end up in their online shop.

From time to time people ask how growlers will hold up, drinking growler of Citra+Galaxy from opening night 12 days ago, perfect, as good as new. Great beer, awesome combination of hops that complement each other well.

Agreed. Fully loaded baked potato 32 oz growler kept perfectly for 3 full weeks!

They don't want to do tasters and are trying to discourage them, but if you really want one, you'll pay a premium. Tasters and flights are a pain in the ass from the brewery side. They'd rather just deal with bigger pours. This is how they compromise that and the fact people want tasters.

I never understood why tasters are such a pain. You can only order two at a time. What's the difference if they are pouring two 4oz pours or two 16oz pour?

Recurrent spillage with less margin. More beers you pour the more you risk wasting. Plus the glassware requirements, more frequent transactions since people will in theory order two to three more times than if they just ordered one 12oz beer, etc.

I get it, but when you have 20 beers on tap to try, a flight would be nice.

Agreed. Would also be nice if it didn't cost nearly the price of one can to try a beer before deciding whether to buy a 4-pack or more of it. But don't see that changing any time.

You've never seen them wash some of them by hand when they run low on glasses?

The one time I've been lucky enough to be at the bar (in the new taproom) I saw they took out a tray of tasters from the steamer when the current stock ran low. But I will take your word for it that they wash some by hand when needed

Went to the new taproom for the first time yesterday. I was surprised that there was not a single thing on the menu with a 16oz pour - not even freakin Crystal Waves. Sometimes I just want a big pour of something low alcohol, damnit. It was nice to come in and buy some Helles and Baby Diamonds with no line.

Is the upcoming release posted above for sure? Anybody know if there will be a 4th and what it will be? Would love to see one of the daydream lactose oat ipas or one of the DDH veggies

happy to see that dishwashing is the most contraversial topic this month.

ran to the new taproom on saturday and filled 3 growlers. Popped open All Enigma Everything and could not finish the 32oz growler in one sitting. I actually think I preferred it the second day. The growler held up well and still had a good amount of head and lacing. Man that beer packs a punch and those enigma flavors are a mystery from one sip to the next.

I really dug my first taste of Enigma last week as well. Hope to see that hop used more often in the future. Also got my first taste of the ddh galaxy which I thought was incredible. Galaxy is hands down my favorite hop and to me every galaxy forward beer they do is a winner. And for this same reason, i'm loving these ddh dream in green cans.
