Can I get just the "locomotive" part? It would be incredibly useful for traversing Brooklyn in my hunt for cans this weekend!

Responsible Adult was excellent. Really changed my mind on OH sessions

Will most likely be coming from subway, what's the best way to transport the load back to my house in NJ (assuming a case).

Sort of depends on your budget. Personally I'd opt for a helicopter - quickest and most direct route home, which would keep the beer as fresh as possible. The stretch of Smith street beside OH is wide/clear enough for a chopper to land on.

If that's not an option then there's a Citibike station nearby. The benefit of riding in the cold (aside from personal fitness) would be keeping the cans at an optimal temperature. Of course you'd have to ride back to NY afterwards to drop it off (to avoid fine), which somewhat puts you back in the original dilemma.

If an adrenaline rush is more your thing then you can carry (using the tried and tested "cafeteria tray" grip) the case back to the subway and take public transport home. Of course goes without saying that walking in public with a case of OH is akin to openly carrying a stack of gold bullion - any beer nerd who slept in, or any well informed opportunist, is a potential threat.

Probably suck it up and pay for an Uber. Lugging shit around on public transportation is a huge pain in the ass, an inconvenience to other riders, and you got multiple transfers going to NJ.

This is the best thing. I live on the Upper East Side and on a good day it takes me about an hour on the MTA but normally closer to 1 hour 15 minutes. Im just going to pony up the 40 bucks and take an uber.

I know this is a sacrilegious suggestion, but maybe buy less beer :wink: ?!

Liking this post is just not enough! Laughing my ass of just reading this. As much as a tongue in cheek suggestion as this is, with some of the shenanigans across the country on hyped releases, crazier things are probably happening!

Street Dreams Are Made of These, a collaboration with @OtherHalfNYC, this blended Imperial Wild Sour Ale was aged in both Cabernet & Sauvignon barrels with Starfruit and Kumquats with a dose of Brettanomyces ($25).

I've never been to an OH release... just wondering if shares are allowed or a complete no-no? I am thinking the latter but don't know unless I ask. Thanks!

Pretty much the whole line is a share. Other Half doesn't seem to care, just clean up and dont be an idiot. But no shares inside the tap room.

Also, the cops do come around and have given tickets a few times so just be aware of your surrounding, it is illegal. This is probably going to be a long line so the police presence might be ramped up a little.
