I wanted to go, just figured traffic leaving NYC around 4 today heading to Long Island would have been brutal.

Place up block has broccoli so I filled some growlers of it. Fair trade

You made the right call. It took me 3 hours and 15 mins to get from LIC Beer Project to Long Beach last night. Its 24.6 miles. Absolutely brutallllllll.

Just did a head count. Running low on the cans (said if everyone got the max allotment they wouldn't have enough for the line) but have plenty of bottles left.

The only thing the gentleman ringing me up would divulge, was it will be DDH....

Could be wrong, but got the feeling they weren't at liberty to tell.

    Lol, ok dude.

Because every DDH beer ever has used lupulin powder (no, just the ones OH has made so far).

I'm sure this will be nice, but I also love galaxy hops.

Anyone tried the Coffee/Hazelnut/Cocoa IAL yet? Hazelnut intrigues me.

If I had to guess it will be DDH AGE. Don't recall them doing that yet. Personally I would like to see something with Nelson, or maybe bring back No Lay Ups...

It's quite nice. It isn't a hazelnut or chocolate bomb, but the flavors go well with the dark, roastiness of IAL.

The coconut/cardamom/vanilla was a stranger beer. It was mostly booze and cardamom until it warmed up to room temp and then there was a bit more balance of the flavors, but the coconut was still subtle for sure. I think most of us expect adjunct/barrel aged stouts to punch us in the mouth and these beers do not do that at all!

The roasty bitterness of both IAL and Orbit base beers have been a bit much until they warm. I think they (and the variants) would be perfect if they weren't as thin and bitter.
