They're both awesome but I did like the DDH version better.

I'll join your boat that I preferred regular DMD to DDH DMD when I drank them side by side

Does anyone know if there is any HS still available when they open today? Case count? Thanks!

Anyone know if there are different hours tonight for Super Bowl? I'm gonna be in the city and would like to hop over around 5:30-5:45 for some quick growler fills before they close, but just want to make sure they're not closing early.

Nuggy was definitely the better of the 2 straight out of release date. 3rd is amazing right now. But i think youre right, Nuggy has been the most solid release in a long time.

I have 1 can of GD left out of the 4 pack I bought and I'm avoiding it. Age on it probably won't help but I don't ever drain pour but I just don't want it lol

I hope Nummy becomes a staple in their lineup. I could drink it all day every day.

I also didn't like the last few batches of Green Diamonds. I ended up not finishing the one I opened and gave away the other three as extras. Sorry y'all if I end up driving down the trade value of Other Half because of that.

Gd was tasty, just not as up to snuff with all the recent amazing releases like ddh ace, etc. It's a great beer, but compared to some of the truly best ipas ever brewed by OH, yes, falls short. I think something is to be said when a great beer like gd, which was a palate wrecker it its on right, is knocked down a peg by other even better beers. It's a great time for the NYC craft beer scene, don't lose sight that we are tremendously spoiled AS IS. Plenty folks would be more than happy drinking gd on a regular basis.

Coming to OH for the first time in March (Saturday morning can release). Is Interboro a stop I need to make? Do they have IPA cans daily?

You'll have to check. Chances are they will. Look, if this is a once in awhile thing for you, my advice is to get cans from OH, Threes, Greenpoint and Interboro if possible. I did it a couple weeks ago. Worth it.

I'd reccomend them. Cans usually last. Chances are you'll get something. Not far distance wise from OH but can take a little bit and be a pain because that little bit is usually filled with traffic

If you're gonna hit up all those spots, I'm gonna assume you're driving and would recommend stopping by LIC, their sours have been pretty great.

Key question, as it can get muddled in BK

Threes is a great sum of quality/local NY: Suarez, HVB…https://www.instagram.com/theshopatthrees/

...Would suggest Sand City, if you can somehow make the hike

Regarding dmd vs dhd dmd.. They're both incredible beers. My take on the dhd craze is that it adds this amazing hop candy powder taste to each beer's base. Like if you had a pixie stick (remember those?) of hop sugar and added some of it to the beer. I'm probably oversimplifying the concept, but that's just how I taste it. Having said that I like both dmd variations for said hop candy powder's presence and absence. Go Falcons!

Earthy hops and passion fruit - sharp, balanced complexity. There’s a crisp(ness)/backbone aspect that reminds me of Street Green, which should be immaterial considering when I last had Street Green. To rephrase, Nummy has a nice medium amid juicy/bitter/traditional goodness

Heads up for fellow Manhattan guys who get annoyed with having to haul their beer on the subway. From ride-sharing app Via:

In local news: there was never an easy way for Greenpoint residents to get, well, anywhere. Until now.

We’re so stoked to be in Greenpoint that we’re extending our $5.95 pricing for all trips to and from Brooklyn for one more week!*
