It seems there will be other beers this weekend as well?

2nd Anniversary was great, but 10% seems to be my cut off for IPA's. Not sure if I am going to trek out early for this or not yet. It's tough to rationalize getting in line at 6:30 for something that I would want no more than a four pack of. If there are other releases, my thought process might change.

Any chance it'll be on in the taproom before Sat night?

@Kanger, so glad to see you guys will be out at the RateBeer Fest near Santa Rosa, CA this week. I recently was out there visiting a friend who was all "pliny this" and "pliny that" and all I could say was that he needed to come out to Brooklyn, but now he can sample the goods out there. Go conquer the West Coast!

The industrial Arts collab was confirmed for this weekend. And it seems like Chinook single IPA will be released too (according to keg email).

ABV shouldn’t be too much of a surprise when it comes to the Anniversary brews

Guess just the two cans then, unless there's gonna be bottles also.

Personally I am probably going to play it by ear and head over early afternoon if cans are still available.

So maybe no Chinook, can't say I'm really disappointed by that though. Hopefully only 2 options will help the line move nice and quick!!

Just found Space Diamonds and Suparillo in a local bottle shop on LI. Pretty stoked since I can almost never get to the brewery. 1 can limit, but the markup was insane - cans were going for $10.99.

Paying that price is pure insanity!

I didn't know OH distributes cans. My guess is it might just be the owner/manager who made an OH run and the premium associated with that is to compensate them for their time and gas.

In fact, this is exactly what happened. Since they are generally good guys, and I'm not sure it would be effective because it's not through distribution, I'm not currently planning on passing a long their name. I was happy for the chance opportunity to get some OH cans since it probably won't happen again any time soon.

So now that it's looking like 2 cans, with 1 being triple dry hopped and the other being a ZOMG collab, does this mean the line will be ridiculous all morning and they'll be out of beer by noon?

I would think OH would want as many people as possible to get this anny beer so I'm tempted to try showing up late morning but the whalez crew never ceases to amaze me with their devotion.

I think the Trillium collab was the biggest batch they have done to date and that was what, around 650-700 cases. That sold out around noon I believe and it was the only thing being released. If rumors are true this will be at least that many cases. I feel like this beer will not bring as big of a crowd as the Trillium collab so I anticipate it last until at least noon.

What time do you think people are going to be lining up?? I've never done a brewery release and thinking this might be my first.

    Nelson was delicious

I would guess people will be lining up by 6am, though it will be completely unnecessary to get there anywhere close to that early.
