How was the Double Cream Get the Honey? What do you consider the two best beers from Saturday's release of four. Thanks.

I thought it was pretty good. Probably #2 on my list but have not had True Green yet. My overall favorite was DDH Double Citra Daydream but I'm also biased towards Citra.

Green In Your Area is quite good as well. Enigma-forward but not crazily so, plenty green but not burning or bitter. Standard-excellent OH, I would say. Don't know how the Vermont yeast contributes.

the instagram last night was a bit confusing ("we have a few cases of ctira+galaxy in the taproom..thanks patchogue! we are sold out of citra+galaxy, etc), but i took a chance before midnight on my way home hoping that just meant patchogue was sold out.. and i was right. This Citra+Galaxy is incredible! perfect blend of both hops, each prominent and neither dominating.

Also, Oh..forever is tasting significantly better now than last week, and I really liked it last week.

They didn't leave beer at Patchogue. It didn't sell out so they brought it back

I live within a 20 minute drive of Hoptron, but couldn't get there until 5:30 Saturday, by which time they'd sold out (per IG post, read while waiting at a red light IN Patchogue :sob: ). But thankfully a friend and his brother had made the trip into BK and bought enough to spread the wealth. So I bought one can each of Citra + Galaxy, True Green, TGIYA, and DDH Citra DD off him on Sunday morning, the transaction going down in an empty parking lot like a drug deal. I asked if he was wearing a wire. Anyway, as soon as I crack the first can (Thursday/Friday?) I will finally join the ranks of OH initiates! :astonished:

Looks like 4th Anniversary isn't the only Anniversary Beer we'll be seeing Saturday.

    2nd Anniversary: 9% Imperial IPA w/ citra, galaxy, kohatu + wai-iti.

3rd Anniversary: 10% Imperial IPA w/ citra, galaxy, motueka, simcoe, vic secret, wai-iti + citra lupulin powder.

4th Anniversary: 10% Quadruple Dry Hopped Imperial IPA. First/second dry hopping - citra, galaxy, and enigma. Third dry hopping - citra lupulin and galaxy. Fourth dry hop - Mosaic.

    Welcome back, old friends.

And there she is - the quadruple dry hop. Cos four times the dry hop is four times better baby.

2nd Anni is still my favorite OH beer, very excited by this development. Will be interesting to see what the limits will be like, seems unlikely all three get multiple batches.

If this is at two 4 packs per customer, I don't think it will be any crazier than the Triangle release.

From what i've heard, A LOT of each of them has been brewed and is being canned.

They do mention in the keg email that quantities were extra limited, so maybe they’re maxing our can counts.

Regardless of the yield, I'd still like to see lower limits than usual. 3-4pks of each is more than enough for one person IMO. I'd like to walk out with a mixed case mid-afternoon with little to no wait, but I guess we shall see.

I'm sure they'll be posting shortly, hopefully they'll brew as much as they can and it won't be 2 4pks per.

If it's just the 3 beers, perhaps one will get the double batch treatment.

Same here. Not sure it will last as long as last year but I bet it will make it into the afternoon at least.

Well I guess I'll get to try fresh 3rd Anni side by side 1yo, this is going to be crazy but it sounds like there will be a lot of beer.
