    Other Half Brewery - http://www.otherhalfbrewing.com/, https://instagram.com/otherhalftaproom/

Address: 195 Centre St Brooklyn, NY 11231

Tap Room Hours: Tuesday through Friday: 5 pm to 10 pm, Saturday: 12 pm to 10 pm, Sunday: 12 pm to 6 pm

Closest Subway Station: Smith-9th St (F and G Train)

Directions From Subway: Walk West on W.9th Street to the intersection, Make a Left on Smith St, walk two blocks and make a right on Centre St, Tap Room is halfway down the block across from the McDonalds. (Approx. 2 min walk)

Parking: Street parking is available near the brewery, but it can be difficult to find an open spot. Parking a few blocks away is suggested. Please don't park at McDonalds.

Current Tap List: Checking Untappd is the best way to find out what is currently available. Pours are available in 4oz/8oz/12oz/16oz depending on the beer. Tasting flights are not available.

Growler Fills: Other Half uses a Counter Pressure fill system. This requires that all 32oz and 64oz growlers have a 1.125” standard threaded opening.

Other Half branded growlers require a $5 deposit. Growlers from other breweries are welcome, but must follow those measurement guidelines. Not all beers are available for growler fills, please check the tap room menu board for details.

Can and Bottles Sales: Cans and Bottles are for sale in the tap room when they are available. Releases are announced via Other Half’s Instagram/Twitter/Facebook. Can releases occur every 2 to 3 weeks. Bottle releases are more sporadic. Cans and Bottles cannot be consumed on the premises.

Since the f train does not stop @ Smith 9th St station due to construction, is is quicker to walk the 1.5 miles from Jay St Metrotech or take the F to 7th ave and take the train back north to Smith 9th St station?

You could also take the B57 bus from Jay Street, which drops off right across from the Smith/9th station. Free transfer from the subway.

Yeah having to get to work tomorrow at the brewery - I'm just taking the B57 (Red Hook Ikea) all the way there. The stop you want coming from Jay st is at Court St and Hamilton. OH is around the corner.

And thanks MTA for screwing up trains on a holiday week-end.

Carrol Street is still open right? That's like a 5 minute walk. Much better than Metrotech.

So what's the thought on the line tomorrow? Gonna be crazy or chill? Got there at 6:45 for the All Dank release and 8:45 for the No Lay Ups release and was at the corner of Garnet both times. Should I plan on getting there in the middle this time? 8ish? Small line due to holiday?

Haven't been here on a Friday in a while but it's pretty packed. I feel like it will end up being busier than some ppl think.

Yeah, Debbie Downer kinda threw a wrench in it. When I saw OH IPA and Moteuka/Galaxy I figured I could show up whenever. Don't know what DD is going to bring.

Lots of people out of town but potentially tourists in town and the Tired Hands PA crowd.

I'm expecting the line to be slightly worse than usual, but nothing too alarming.

The drive back to Long Island though? Forget about it.

I'm hoping to stroll in around noon to at least grab something. I won't be heart broken if DD is sold out by then.

I'm showing up in the afternoon. Will have the wife and kid with me and, if growlers are my fate, so be it. That said, I'm optimistic I'll get some cans of my choosing.
