    It was open for selling cans I believe. When I arrived around 1:30, they had closed it. I was told it will be open again tomorrow for purposes of selling cans but i'm uncertain if it'll remain open, I hope it does due to the number of people expected tomorrow.

    Probably the same thing that compels people to wait for hours upon hours every single week for a beer. The I haves vs. the have nots. People like to show off that they obtained something not many other people have. I mean really, what is someone going to do with a broccoli, cheddar, cabbage, baked potato and fully loaded potato teku? Most likely take a picture of their set and put it on Instagram

    Imagine years from now kids clearing out their parents' house when they get pushed into an assisted living facility asking "what the hell is with all these beer glasses?" before putting them on the curb for recycling.

    What's old is new again. I remember putting dozens of my grandfather's German beer steins to the curb when we had to move him out of his home. I was a little kid back then and could not for the life of me figure out why anyone would need more than one or two glasses for beer. He had them on display in a big glass cabinet that none of the grandkids were permitted to approach without parental supervision.

    Not the glasses, I imagine the hoard of IPAs some folks must have in their basements! All to eventually hold the same value of a Beanie Babies collection.....
