The OH folks are the most vitriolic I've ever encountered.

caveat - never been to an otherhalf release. love their beers i've had from sharing with @dhaakon.

not sure why OH should be criticized unless they forced this dude to work the overnight and hand out wristbands on an expected shitshow collab release. shout out to those who chipped in regardless. nothing wrong with showing people love, no one is obliged.

This thread certainly has meandered through topics for 18 pages. I read the last 3-4, too. I feel like I should earn at least 1-2 college credits for it.

On to beer, potatoes still on tap. Didn't stand in line Saturday, but went in at 5 and filled growlers of Twice Baked and Fully Loaded in no time. Other Half not only makes fantastic beer, but I really appreciate the availability of growler fills well after can releases. This may seem simple, but it's nice that they brew enough to keep the beer flowing through the following week. I'm not inclined to spend hours waiting on line, and I don't have to, because I can just nab fills. Well done, OH!

I didn't say it was obscene, I said it was relatively obscene. Which it is. But thanks, you've enlightened me. This is my last post ever on this thread as I now understand how foolish I was to pay a lot for beer I like. If only I'd had the spare cash to tip as well . .

These past few pages have been entertaining to read. I hope Other Half releases some ugly looking labels at some point in the future to keep the train rolling.

a polite conversation about when to tip or not is now "vitriolic"

I'm making my first trip to OH this weekend. How hard is it to find parking? Can you park on the main street under the highway?

I'm skipping my first Other Half release this weekend. Is it OK to park myself on this thread and read the rolling commentary with glee? Can I drink beer at home at 8 in the morning or do I have to be on the line?

Are you trying to stir things up by asking for parking tips

I take the train down to OH so I can't really opine on optimal parking spots, just don't park in the McDonalds lot unless you want to get towed. You don't want to be the guy from a few weeks ago who was running with a few cases of beer in hand while his car was being towed.

You should have no issues parking on the other side of expressway and walking over a block to OH.

park on the other side of the BQE. theres a triangle shaped brick building right accross the street, best spots are right behind it. It only fits 3 or 4 cars but usually there arent any there.

I've got a 32 oz growler of fully loaded in the fridge just begging to be opened but I've heard from some folks who don't frequent this thread that I should wait a week more as it needs to mellow a bit. Any tips?

    (See what I did there?)

Tried fully loaded at the tap room last night. Imo it was pretty harsh and could use time, like some previous OH triples.

More importantly, make sure you bring enough extra cash to tip appropriately.
